Enjoy beachfront living during your stay at this 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom vacation rental condo unit 22 in Destin! The condo is located in the gated community, Silver Dunes Condominiums and is perfect for up to 8 guests who want to spend their days lounging by the community pool or swimming in the Gulf of Mexico. You’ll also be within driving distance of many other area attractions.
When you walk into this condo, you’re instantly reminded that you’re on a Floridian vacation! The sliding glass doors that lead to the balcony provide plenty of Florida sunshine to illuminate the apartment each day.
Short 75 yard walk to beach through a manicured courtyard and you will be playing in the emerald green waters of the Gulf of Mexico! Centrally located to the pool, game room, coin laundry, and BBQ grills
Step outside to the balcony to enjoy magnificent sunsets over the Gulf of Mexico. Listening to the sounds of the waves crash on the beach is the ideal way to end a perfect day in Destin.
Beach Service – If you didn’t pre-reserve beach chairs, just stop by the beach hut or call the Excel team at In addition to chairs and umbrellas, Excel offers kayaks and paddle boards for rent, as well as an assortment of snacks and drinks.
Tennis, Basketball, Pickleball, and Shuffleboard – Forget your gear? No worries, you can check out rackets, balls, and more at the front desk at no charge!
Grilling Out – In the busy months of spring and summer, many families opt to grill out rather than go out. We have eight charcoal grills available. There are several seafood markets nearby, including Blalock’s which is just a block to the west (p.s., their tuna dip is a must try!).
Fitness Center – Did you know we have a fitness center in the Penthouse building? Just stop by the front desk to borrow the key.
Family Activities – There’s always something fun on the itinerary at Silver Dunes:
• Annual Easter Egg Hunt in the Courtyard – Easter Sunday, 9 am in the courtyard
• Scavenger Hunts – Throughout the Spring – for children of all ages! Just stop by the office to pick up your scavenger hunt necessities. Once you’ve collected everything, stop back by the office to pick a surprise from the Silver Dunes treasure chest!
• Movies in the Courtyard – Bring a picnic blanket, your beach chairs, and join us on Mondays at dusk throughout June and July. We show a different family-friendly movie each week.
• S’mores Nights with Live Music at the Pool –Wednesday nights are awesome at Silver Dunes! Throughout June and July, the firepits will be out, s’mores roasting, and tunes playing!

We love Silver Dunes. It is by far, the best place to stay when you have kids. It isn’t huge and crowded. They have s’mores at night for the kids by the pool and one night there was a little concert. My kids had the time of their lives. My 5 year old said it was the best days of his life!!

We have stayed here several times, but this time our condo was not up to the standards we have come to accept at Silver Dunes. The condo was dirty when we checked in. Old mildewed wash cloth in the shower, sand under the rug when u come in, carpet was disgusting. The furniture was old and dirty and broken. The ac would not go below 70 degrees. The staff was not helpful. They sent maintenance who was clueless and although I stopped in the office to talk to Amber she never got back in touch with me to let me know if they would be discounting anything. Still haven’t heard anything from them. I understand that they only manage the place but there needs to be some kind of standard as to the furnishings and the level of accommodations they offer. The location is awesome and they know that.
