About this house rental
Hello and welcome to Talloires Montmin!
The Alpine chalet “l'Orme” welcomes families and travelers seeking peace and quiet... but also a warm, friendly atmosphere among friends.
**On the 1st floor of the chalet**:
- 1 bedroom, double bed
- a shower with plenty of jets
- The living room with a huge TV (but it’s still better to look out the window!)
- A hanging fireplace
- The kitchen
- Restroom
- The balcony for enjoying an aperitif while watching chamois and foxes race down the mountain (bring your binoculars)
**On the 2nd floor**
- 3 bedrooms with double beds, 2 of which have access to a balcony.
- Toilet
- Bathroom with tub
**In the basement**
- Foosball
- Pool table
**Outside**
- The 80-square-meter terrace that’s just been redone!
- The outdoor seating area arranged around the fire pit lets you enjoy evenings by the fire, even in the middle of summer.
**Chalet location:
- 10 min from Talloires and Lake
- 20 minutes from Annecy
- 45 min from Geneva Airport,
- 5 min from the Col de la Forclaz
**The Col de la Forclaz:
- one of the most beautiful paragliding spots in France!
- The restaurant L’Auberge de Montmin (really expensive, but incredibly good)
- Probably the most beautiful view of Lake Annecy
- Kilometers of hiking trails
- Chamois, foxes, mountains… nature!
**For Hikers:
- The Col de la Tournette (highest point of the Bornes Massif)
- 3 hours and 40 minutes from the chalet—on foot, of course!
- 11 minutes by car
**For skiers**
The Talloires Montmin ski resort is a 5-minute drive from the chalet.
It’s a nice place, but it’s run by a community association. If there’s no snow, there’s no skiing!
A 35-minute drive away is La Clusaz
-> On Vrbo, there’s a note stating that we’re close to a ski resort... Please ignore it!

Property clean, spacious, well-stocked with beautiful views. Close to hiking trails, paragliding, restaurants half mile drive or half hour hike. Sheep and cattle all around / loved the bells! Basement had pool table and foozball to play at night or rainy day. Porches up and down to enjoy views. Full size fridge - modern ovens, stovetop and multiple coffee machines. Grill and fire pit. Was perfect for our family trip of 7 adults! Host were very friendly and quick to respond to communication! Loved!!

Tout est conforme à l'annonce, le chalet est tres bien équipé, l'environnement super. nous avons passé un bon sejour. chacun a son espace.

Chalet typique des alpages, bien aménagé. Nous étions 4 adultes et 2 enfants et nous avions un espace de vie sympathique. Balcon ensoleillé très agréable
