I like the apartment
Super location. I really like the apartment location. It's near to the sea and also to the super market and center but still very quiet. The car park also near. We parked near the sea for 1 week. it's kind of convenience. Good SmartTV and channels. I normally never turn on a TV on my vacation but this time was a relaxing vacation. So when I have to wait for a sun shine for a few hours, TV is a good friend.

- beach towels - guest giftes - beds were comfortable - Location (near to the beach & the city) - communication with the host - open structure of the roomes - extra blanket for the couch
- ants in the ground floor - limestone in the kettle - stains in the toilet and the table - some drinking glasses were cracked - missing pepper, sugar, oil and other spices - missing measuring cup and other kitchen utensils - dishes were to big for the dishwasher - minimal soundinsolation

Die Lage ist unschlagbar, man ist in 2 min am Strand und mitten im Ort, auch die Bushaltestelle ist direkt in der Nähe.
Der Abfluss in der Dusche war verstopft und ein kleines Ameisenproblem hat die Küche auch, die zudem schlecht ausgestattet war bzw. das Kochgeschirr eigentlich nicht benutzbar. Aber am enttäuschendsten war der sogenannte Garten: ein 4 qm Betonhinterhof, den man sich mit den 4 Mülltonnen und den wirklich unmittelbar nebenan wohnenden Nachbarn teilt, kein Tisch, kein Stuhl, wie auf den Fotos, wobei man dort eh nicht sitzen möchte....

Top Lage, gemütliches Wohnen mit Steigerungspotzenzial
Die Vermieterin ist sehr nett und hilft gerne mit guten Tipps weiter. Wir wurden sehr herzlich begrüsst. Die Lage ist perfekt: nur wenige Schritte bis zum Strand und Meer und zur Fussgängerzone mit hübschen Läden und vielen Restaurants. Vorteilhaft ist das neue bewachte Parkhaus direkt am Strand und eine Wochenkarte ist günstig zu haben.
Die Treppe in das Obergeschoss ist - wie typisch für die Niederlande - schmal und steil und weniger etwas für ältere Menschen. Zudem ist das Bad im Erdgeschoss und wer nachts auf die Toilette muss, muss die steile Treppe bewältigen - dieser Umstand könnte in der Beschreibung erwähnt werden. In der Dusche/WC kann das Fenster nicht geöffnet werden und es hat sich an den Wänden und in den Fugen des Fliesenbelages Schimmel gebildet, welcher unbedingt entfernt werden sollte: Die Betten sind sehr weich und das Haus selber ist recht hellhörig. Bei der Küchenausstattung herrscht ein ziemliches Sammelsurium an Geschirr, Gläsern und Besteck. Dieses sollte ergänzt und einheitlich gewählt werden. In der Beschreibung ist ein Sitzplatz im Hof erwähnt. Dieser kann jedoch nicht genutzt werden, da die Nachbarn (Dauermieter in der Wohnung nebenan) dort ihre Fahrräder, Grill, Schuhe, Mülltonnen etc. deponieren.

Erholsame Woche in Katwijk aan Zee
Die Wohnung ist in einer ruhigen Strasse, parallel zum Boulevard - eine Top-Lage, ca. 200 m zu den Dünen, wo man schon das Meer sieht, und etwa genau so weit bis zur Fussgängerzone mit Geschäften und Supermarkt. Die Unterkunft ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet, mit allem was man braucht.
Die Adresse war mit Koningin Wilhelminastraat ohne Hausnummer angegeben. Der Eingang ist allerdings in der Koningin Emmastraat. Ein Hinweis darauf wäre gut, denn ohne die Fotos von der Aussenansicht hätten wir die Wohnung sonst nicht so leicht gefunden.
