Very quiet and peaceful surroundings. Mount Fuji view as a great feature. Spacious interior by Japan standard and cleanliness is top notch.

Flexibility on early check in would be nice :( Travel during winter season would need to be mindful of potential major road closures that may affect the travelling plan towards it. We miss one day due to this very reason. An alternative accommodation was arranged and incurred additional cost. I'm wondering host was aware and potentially can give customers a heads up especially customers who travel from countries do not have different seasons.

The apartment was clean and functional. We had a fantastic view of mount Fuji from our main window, that was exceptional. There is a big supermarket nearby (10 min. on foot), which is handy for stocking up on supplies for your hikes.

There were a few holes in the inner walls, but nothing that bothered us. But it would have been nice if they had written down that the owner knew about the current state, so we didn’t have to document it on arrival and notify them. They had cleaned the place up recently, so they must have been aware of the holes. The apartment is right next to a major road and with the railroad running just 30 or so meters from the apartment. The walls were very thin, so the noise will wake you up, if you are a ‘light’ sleeper.
