About this cottage rental
Mo's Cottage is a 2 bedroom, 1 bath cottage conveniently located in Hatteras Colony of the Tri-Village area. Only 3 houses back from Merrimac beach access, this nostalgic cottage has everything you need to enjoy your stay.
* Included is a fully stocked kitchen to prepare meals, laundry, beach toys, beach chairs, bikes, and a beach umbrella. Mo's Cottage is complete with a comfortable screened porch and an open living concept. The cottage has 1 queen bed and 2 twin beds. Linens are provided for the beds. After a fun afternoon at the beach or the sound enjoy the outdoor shower.
ALL BED LINENS AND PILLOWS ARE PROVIDED
*** You will need to provide all beach towels as well as toilet paper, paper towels, soap, and any food/condiment items for your stay.
**** 1- 50lb dog or less will be considered for a non-refundable fee of $150.00.

Excellent place to stay, but property manager listed us, as the renters, as four stars instead of five.

We were asked to do quite a bit of cleaning at checkout: wash and put away all dishes, sweep all floors, etc. but were still charged additional cleaning fees. Several hundred dollars in cleaning fees is unacceptable when we arrived to a dirty cabin and were asked to clean upon departure as well. Dishes were dirty, floors were covered in sand and hair, beds were unmade upon check in. Hosts messaged me almost everyday of our stay reminding me of their cleaning and checkout policies (six messages in five days). We were also charged additional fees for a service animal (illegal under US and NC law). Only one burner on the grill works.
