Uriel was very kind by letting us Check in early :) Place is located super close to the andador turístico that takes you to the zocalo. Place is surrounded by good places for coffee and nice restaurants as well as churches and alleys for great pictures. However, place is 2 doors down a bar that has karaoke and Loud music every night. super fun! But not if you’re tired and want to sleep at night… you will not! At least till 3 am. This is completely out of Uriel hands…. Inside the place tho… it’s a 3 level house, plenty of beds and bathrooms for a large group of people. House needs a lot of maintenance, Specially kitchen and bathrooms …. Stairs are too tall and there’s many lol! Bathrooms inside bedrooms had shower like sliding doors so whoever is in the room can see and hears your business lol! We were there 5 nights and we had cold showers every day. Gas thank is too small for so many bathrooms in any of the two levels ….. new towels and new set of knives in the kitchen would be nice. For the location and price it was ok. Uriel. Thank you so much for having us :)

I'm going to leave a review that might seem very harsh, but the pro's for my friends and I (3), out weighed the con's. The location is FANTASTIC, there is an outstanding quesadilla stand outside the front door, the individual rooms can be locked, the 3 rooms we inhabited had AC and the price was right. Uriell was very responsive when needed except for giving the instructions to the enter the dwelling (Make sure you get the instructions, not just the code BEFORE you begin your journey). The description of the dwelling is misleading. I personally do not think it is appropriate for the elderly or small children. It is not wheelchair acceptable though it is mentioned in the description. This is a 3 story dwelling with uneven stairs, occasionally lacking rails. The rooftop has no rails or safety precautions. The kitchen is FILTHY and unhygienic. Spilled food has not been cleaned a very long time and critter waste is evident. My friends and I did not need the kitchen except for the purified water, so it was not a problem for us to avoid. The bathrooms had not had a thorough cleaning. Evidence of prior occupants was apparent. As of this review the washing machine is broken; pack accordingly. There is a loud Karakoe bar next door, but the rooms we took had well running AC and could block out the sound. I can't recommend this place for someone looking for a quaint place to stay, but I can highly recommend it for folks who just want a safe place to sleep and regroup.

This is a tough review to write. On one had some may see this property as not great but I on the other hand Loved it. It was authentic living for me. Right off the bat, the location was awesome. It was near everything and the location was safe. Park your car, walk around at night and your good. Some reviews state the bar next door is loud and make it difficult to sleep with the noise. For us it wasn’t at all. You hear it more on the top floor(that’s where I slept) but it wasn’t bothersome at all. Shopping is great and food locations are wonderful. This place is in the heart of it all. Now I find it easier when I read reviews that have both pros and cons. Over all I enjoyed this place. I would definitely rent it again. Pros: Great location Parking available Safe Big and roomy Cheap Great roof top views All rooms minus top floor had an AC unit Authentic living Fridge in each room Cons: 1.Room # 2 had a distinct smell from the restroom. No one slept in that room due to odor. 2.Bottom restroom outside of bedroom leaks from sink and wets entire floor 3.Water leaks from rain- when I mean leak I mean pours into home. This was only in the middle of the home and top floor hallway. Non of the rooms got wet. Top floor hallway gets real slippery. 4. Fridge in each room was small. I would of preferred one large fridge in kitchen 5. Water pump. There is a switch you need to turn on for about ten minutes to fill water bin on roof. You’ll know when you need water due to lack of pressure or out of water. Switch is on first floor. We did run out of water and had to yell downstairs for someone to turn pump on and then wait. Also, if you leave pump on to long, water will over spill on roof and enter home. These Cons are not meant to scare you away. These are very small issues that in my opinion are mediocre. The house is beautiful, it’s spacious and you can’t beat the price for the location with all the wonderful eye candy. The host was responsive and available 24/7. I definitely give this place 2 thumbs up.
