Pet-Friendly Keowee lakefront luxury home w/dock, 5BR, kayaks, stone fire pit

This home is beautiful and is in a great neighborhood and perfect part of the lake. The host was very responsive to messages and the check-in process was super easy. It won't take away from the 5 stars, but if you're considering renting this house, understand that about 1/3 of the home is off limits to guests. It has the listed amount of bedrooms and bathrooms and all that, but the master suite is off limits on the main level as well as space on the second level and the entire bottom level is not accessible. Maybe it's just my inexperience with VRBO but I've never stayed anywhere where that much of the home was off limits. The bathrooms were pretty small, too small for two people to be in at once. It would have been nice to have an awning or something to use on the dock as it was over 100 degrees the week we went. Luckily we brought a boat with us and we took it out and found shade on an island. Had a fantastic time and again, still giving 5 starts cause the host was very nice and everything is as it is described in the listing. Beautiful house with all the amenities needed for a great vacation.

What a beautiful home and the lake view is AMAZING!!!!The home is located on a quiet cul-de-sac. It's spacious with (3) King bedrooms, a huge basement and the best part, rocking chairs on the patio. We spent every morning in them with our coffee watching the birds and looking at the beautiful lake vista. The home is super clean, well stocked kitchen with anything you may need, and bathroom essentials in case you forgot something. The rooms are beautifully decorated with comfy beds. The large beam ceiling and wood work throughout the home is gorgeous. We had a blast finding all the cute critter art (hiding in plain sight). Be sure to look up to find them. The kayak was so fun but lake water was too cold to swim or float so we didn't get to use the large floating pad. In the evenings we had fun playing board games. This is home is SPECTACLUAR

This Lake Keowee home was amazing! Exactly as described and was so inviting! All our necessary essentials in the kitchen were available, and there was so much room for each of our family members. The outdoor space was picturesque! Will always treasure memories made there and would highly recommend to anyone who is looking into staying! The owners were in contact right away with any questions that we had. We were able to enjoy a warm & relaxing stay with our family! :-)

We had a fantastic week here! House was spacious, had everything we needed in the kitchen, and had a great dock where we spent countless hours. We took advantage of the dock having space for us to tie up our boat that we trailered up with us and launched at a nearby boat ramp. Even with boat tied up on one side we had plenty of room to swim, float and enjoy the huge water mat they let guests use. We didn't use the paddle boards and kayaks they also have there, but would have if we hadn't have had our own boat to use. The lake is pretty large and very fun to explore by boat. We were extremely lucky with the weather, and were able to enjoy the water during the day and the fire pit in the evening. Loved that the fire pit was so large and had plenty of seating to accommodate our whole group. Trip and Laura were very easy to communicate with and answered all our questions leading up to our trip very quickly. They also checked in with us after we arrived to make sure everything was good. Lake Keowee has always been one of our favorite places to vacation, and I wouldn't hesitate to stay at this house again in the future!
