The house was perfect for our annual family trip to a Clemson game! It had everything we needed and was the perfect place for all of us to get together.

I give the review a good, only because the size of the home and number of bedrooms and bathrooms were exactly what our group needed. It is a big beautiful home but the carpets and rugs were very dirty and the sofa in the main living room had a lot of stains and wear and tear. The stains were so bad we did not feel comfortable sitting on it without putting down a cover. We lost power at about 9pm on our first night to 2 floors. The owner was contacted and h8s response was; I just had surgery and I do not have people just standing by like a hotel. He said he would contact his maintenance guy to come out the next day, as he was 40 miles away. He also sent me his number. We were a little disappointed that he could not send anyone that night because we had to go without heat and power all the rest of the night. Which made us had to cancel all activities planned for that night. Our first night of our Christian women"s retreat. But we were okay, we are not unreasonable people and took into consideration him just having surgery. The maintenance guy did come at 9:15 the next morning and after checking several things he did restore power. But because their was a short somewhere, he advised us not to use the hot tub and turn off the heat to the pool. So we were not able to use those amenities, which we really had planned on. Then we didn't have hot water in some of the bathrooms so we had to use other people's bathrooms to bath. When I addressed these issues with the owner he becam

Property is extremely dated, which you can pick up on from the pictures. But, it has a serious ant problem and has not been cared for. The beds and linens were clean and comfy. Worst pillows I've ever had in my life. Lots of broken blinds that didn't work, and left a disheveled appearance. They didn't provide ANY Kleenex, or shower amenities-which in my experience is very odd? The flooring had a lot of inconsistencies that made it a bit dangerous for the older people in our party. The property is beautiful, and access to the lake is outstanding. It wasn't a bad stay, it just really didn't meet our needs, or standards.
