About this house rental
The Hamptons is located on Lake Keowee minutes from downtown Seneca and 10 miles from the Clemson Campus. This 2,500 square foot lakefront home has 4 bedrooms, 3 baths and a large covered dock with plenty of space for lounging and swimming for family and friends. The deck wraps the back side of the house and has the best views of the water! Larger water view and a quiet island with beach about 100 yards offshore. It also has its own private sany beach near the water too.
The house sleeps 8 people comfortably. The main living area is a large open space with cathedral ceilings. The functional kitchen has a large pantry and a breakfast bar as well as a dining table. Off the living area is a large deck overlooking the lake and a new gas grill. For your convenience, there is wireless high-speed internet available throughout the house. There is an Tesla EV charger in the garage and there are Ring Cameras at all entry doors for extra security
Main Level: There are three bedrooms. The master suite includes a separate bath and sliding glass door to the deck. The 2nd bedroom has a queen bed with plenty of closet space. The 3rd bedroom has 2 twin beds with trundle beds and a large closet. The 2nd and 3rd bedrooms share the bathrooms on this level.
Terrace Level: The lower level of the home has another living area with a sofa and loveseat. There is also the 4th bedroom with 2 queen beds and large closet and a great lake view. The bathroom is centrally located for the bedroom and living space. There is a sliding glass door leading out to the lower level walkway to the water.
Outside: This home is located on a quiet cove, perfect for fishing and swimming. There is a large covered dock with plenty of area for lounging and swimming including a ladder to easily get in and out of the water. The dock has covered overhangs on both sides, so you always have the choice to either sit in the sun or shade. There is a beach area that adults and children enjoy and a fire-pit by the water. There are 4 kayaks and 3 paddle boards. The Keowee Marina is nearby for boat drop in.
This is a family vacation home - maximum 8 adults plus children located in a quiet neighborhood where the majority of homeowners live year round. No large groups, no parties, no sororities, no high-school or college groups, no chaperoned or non-family groups, no church groups, or other large groups. Pets are allowed with owner approval Maximum of 10 strictly enforced. All vehicles must be parked in the driveway - not on the grass and not on the road. This is a lovely quiet street with many full time residents with a large water view.

Incredible view of a pristine lake! My family enjoyed the use of the kayaks and the fire pit (even firewood was provided!) We also enjoyed the vast assortment of board games, and the ping-pong and foosball tables. The TV room in the basement was nice…but we barely used it! Of course, my twenty-something year old children required top-notch WiFi and, thankfully, the home didn’t disappoint! It had everything we needed: Dishes, towels, bed-linens, etc. We loved that the property was SO private. Yes, there are neighbors but you cannot see/hear each other because the properties have thick tree/shrub borders. It made our entire stay nothing but peace and quiet! Finally, the host was excellent. He provided all of the communication needed but wasn’t overly intrusive, either. This allowed us to relax and enjoy a great lake home on wonderful Lake Keowee!

Very enjoyable property! It was a spacious property and great time entertaining our children. Foosball table and ping-pong table are great to have. Nice to have upstairs that downstairs TV room.

A great family home with a perfect location. Nice and clean upon arrival. Host was super nice and responded to messages in a timely manner. Plenty of stores and restaurants nearby. Beautiful fenced yard and easy access to the dock and lake.

Otherwise we were disappointed with the property. A broken window (no glass, just a warped screen) in one of the bedrooms was concerning; and it was 33 degrees at night. We also had a few cold showers when only 2 were showering. We contacted the host and they were responsive but didn’t remedy either situation. We were in Seneca for a funeral so didn’t spend much time at the house. We’d planned on hosting a family dinner but ended up not.
