About this house rental
Our 4300 square foot home was built in 2016. We are located in The Cliffs at Keowee Springs.
This cozy home has 6 bedrooms, 4 of which are king rooms with en-suite baths. The large bonus room over the garage has 3 twin beds and a daybed with trundle underneath and includes an en-suite bathroom. This room is accessible inside the home with its own AC system. On the lower level we have a large bunk room with 2 sets of hand-crafted bunkbeds. There is also an extra small twin private room under the steps that we call "the Harry Potter Room".
The gourmet kitchen includes a five burner gas range, dual ovens, a french door refrigerator, granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, a spacious island with prep sink and disposal, and freestanding ice machine. The breakfast bar provides additional seating. There is also an additional refrigerator in the garage.
The large dining table seats 10 comfortably, however we have squeezed 14 and had plenty of room. There are also additional dining areas on the kitchen island (seats 2), screen porch (seats 4), grilling deck (table seats 6) or the lower patio (seats 4). Dine inside or out and enjoy the scenery. There are beautiful views from the porch and deck overlooking a wide cove and large private dock. The water depth at the end of dock averages 10-12ft.
Additional noteworthy features are the vaulted and beamed great room and 10 to 13 foot ceilings throughout the home. The open plan lends itself to large groups. Four of the bedrooms have lake views. There is a state of the art tankless water heater that provides instant hot water that won't run out.
Three kayaks, a standup paddle board, many floats and multiple sizes of lifejackets are available for your enjoyment and you are welcome to tie your personal or rental boat to our dock during your stay. The home is just steps from the dock- which is great for swimming and other water sports. If you aren't familiar with Lake Keowee- the water is just about the clearest lake water around! We're perfect for Clemson football weekends and large get-togethers with family and friends. Our home is a short 2 hours miles from Atlanta and 20 minutes from Clemson.
We are a multi-generational family from our 20's -80's and love coming together at the lakehouse. All of us take great pride in our home and love sharing it with others. We think you will find this seems more like a home away from home. We have created some wonderful memories here at Lake Keowee and know that you will too!

I think the best thing I can say about this house is that this is the fourth time we have stayed at this property. It has become our home away from home when visiting this area.
