This second floor apartment is quiet, private and recently modernised.It is clean and well equipped ensuring your comfort for a long or short stay. It has one bedroom, a bathroom a living room, a separate work/study area and a well equipped kitchen. There is free on street parking in front of the apartment (parking permits provided at the apartment). Headroom is limited in some areas.
The immediate area offers a service station and easy access on foot to a Lidl supermarket 200m away with a great in store bakery, and a large Tesco store within 1km. If you are bringing the family, there is a children's play park within 50m and an indoor soft play centre also in the nearby Pompey Centre which also has fast food outlets. Portsmouth FC is within 1km.
For entertainment there is Southsea beach with its 6km promenade and parkland, all around 2km to the south, Old Portsmouth has historic charm, artists' open studios and stunning views over the mouth of Portsmouth Harbour and, in the Dockyard, the famous Historic Ships, one of the most popular tourist attractions in the UK.
Shoppers are well catered for. Southsea's Albert Road is the pl ace to go for fashion-able independent boutiques, craft ale pubs, wine bars and independent restaurants from many cultures. Gunwharf Quays offers a multitude of designer outlet stores, there are bargains to be had here! Commercial Road offers department stores and Cascades indoor mall, also a traditional market on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Southsea centre offers a more refined experience with regular farmers' and craft markets.
