Be London - The Bloomsbury Residences

Great location - lots of stores and restaurants near by including the higher end shops of Lambs Conduit. Located on a Mews street so was very peaceful at night but very to several bus lines that brought us all over London. A little farther walk took us to several tube stations including a stop on the Elizabeth line that took us right from the airport. The surrounding area was lovely and you could easily walk to Holborn or SoHo. The apartment itself was spacious with a nice kitchen area with table, living room, 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths. Beds were firm but comfortable. Flat outfitted with really great smelling soap, lotion, shampoo and conditioner which was very much appreciated. Also appreciated having 2 sets of keys which seems to be less and less standard lately. Tv had some cable channels which was wonderful to watch local shows. We were not able to check in early but we could leave our luggage starting at 12:30 which was helpful. Overall this is a great apartment with lots of space in a charming area and would be happy to stay again.

Relatively minor issues compared to the upsides but worth noting. Despite the listing indicating the apartment was air conditioned, it does not have central air but a portable machine that would only cool the kitchen. Our apartment is a duplex on the ground and cellar floors so there is no ability to open a window and anyone walking past the street can see in. The bedrooms underground are outfitted with a skylight to let natural light in but there is no way to close that so the morning sun can wake you at first light. Lastly there were a couple of smaller bits showing their age like the carpets and bathroom.

Fantastic location and in walkable distance to all the places we wanted to visit. Lovely quiet area but still with lots of bars and restaurants around about and only 20 min walk from Kings Cross Station. Staff were amazing, we had to book on the day due to being let down by other accommodation however communication and service was 1st class, checking we got there ok, letting us in to drop bags off and ensuring everything was ready for a quick turn around/ arrival. Also sent lovely message making sure we had settled in OK and being available should we need anything further. Planning our trip again for next year and this will definitely be the place we plan to book again to stay.
