About this cabin rental
If you are looking for a great cabin for a large group, on acreage with no neighbors, yet 3-4 minutes from Hwy 160, just above Lake Pagosa... then this cabin is for you. New Hot Tub recently added!
This is a simple cabin with plenty of space to hike, sled or show shoe on the property and plenty of land to play group games and explore. You enter the cabin from the large covered porch, perfect for coffee in the AM or wine in the afternoon. As you enter, on one side is the spacious kitchen that's perfect for cooking for the whole gang and plenty of kitchen items. Off the kitchen is the dining area with French Doors to the porch. Past the kitchen is a full bathroom, then a large laundry room . On the other side of the entry is the comfortable living room with plenty of space for all to hang out, gas fire place and large TV mounted on the wall. There is another full bathroom off the living room. Outside the kitchen is the gas grill.
Up the stairs from the living room are 3 bedrooms and another large full bathroom. Two of the bedrooms have king beds and the third bedroom has twin bunk beds and a queen bed, with it's own TV.
This cabin does not have any neighbors so you don't have to worry about upsetting or hearing the neighbors. It's an amazing property and you 'll enjoy it fully. We do recommend a 4WD vehicle during winter months.
All trailers, RV's, campers or other recreation vehicles must be approved prior to arrival to be allowed on premises.
This is a dog friendly home with a $75 per dog fee, plus an additional $100 per dog refundable deposit. 2 dogs, max. Message us for details on the pet policy.
This home does not have AC.
There is no swimming allowed in the lakes and this home is not within PLPOA district so can't fish in the pagosa lakes either.
Please note there is a $50 cancellation fee that applies to all cancellations made after booking.

Host was responsive and welcoming. Amenities were all in excellent condition, except for the DVD player which wasn't working properly, but luckily we brought our own just in case. Cabin is basically in the perfect location, as it provides the feeling of being remote while on the property, yet it's a short drive to in-town restaurants and stores, including a Walmart. Highly recommend Rosie's Pizzeria for both normal crust pizza and their gluten free crust option. Check out Black Bart's Brunch for breakfast, including the gluten free option for their waffles. The hot tub was clean and in good working order. The mattress in the master "Bear" room is definitely on the very firm side, as an FYI.

Beautiful piece of property. We saw deer every day and a fox twice. The house is spacious.

The location was wonderful. Our concierge Natalee was very helpful and quick to respond. The house wasn't cleaned well. The king bed had dog hair left in the sheets. The queen had mouse droppings in the sheets and under the pillow. The hot tub worked but was definitely not new.
