The Split Pine Cabing is perfectly located less than a mile from downtown Pagosa shops, restaurants and activities. Take in the views and local wildlife from the large wrap around deck or soak in the hot tub under the stars after a day of skiing, hiking, ballooning or other adventure in the beautiful San Juans. The gas fireplace will keep you warm and snug no matter how low the temperature drops outside. A fully equipped kitchen has all the right tools for you to make a home-cooked meal, and the large deck offers both a gas grill and and plenty of outdoor seating. **SNOW CONDITIONS may arise during your winter season travel days or your vacation stay. Main roads are maintained throughout the day, however, many side roads receive less attention and every driveway has a different terrain. This home has a long steep driveway. For your safety, PLEASE BE PREPARED with snow chains for all two-wheel drive vehicles. ***AWD and 4X4 are HIGHLY RECOMMENDED during the months of November - April.***

HOME LAYOUT



The inviting, open floor plan is a wonderful space to share time with your friends and/or family. You'll enter this home through the mud room where you can kick your shoes off and store your gear. The laundry room is located just to the left. The mudroom leads into a fully equipped kitchen which then opens up to the dining and living area with a cozy fire place and wonderful views of the mountains and valley. There is a convenient full bathroom in this living area. The primary bedroom and bathroom suite will be on the first floor to the left. You will find ample closet space and a large en suite bathroom with a large soaking tub and beautifully tiled walk-in shower. Upstairs you will find a large sitting area and smart TV. There is also a desk area for anyone who needs to get some work done. The three additional bedrooms are on this upper level as well as another full bathroom with tub/shower combination.

Less than a mile from the center of town, this retreat is surrounded by natural beauty and has all the seclusion you could ask for. You can also take a leisurely stroll down the San Juan River Walk along the water while taking in the sights. History buffs should take the 20.6-mile drive west to Chimney Rock National Monument, a collection of over 200 ruins from an ancient Pueblo settlement. In the winter, pack your skis and make the 25 mile trek north to spend the day skiing at Wolf Creek Ski Area.
