Clean comfortable and good location

Very good location only about 4 minutes walk to the train & bus station. Free car parking was a bonus. There are a lot of steps from the car space up to the property (about 35) then a further 30+ stairs once inside up to the lounge / dining area on the top floor. We were fine with this but it’s worth knowing in advance! Nice views from the upper floors across to the Abbey. Kitchen is lacking much storage space for food and although there are plenty of plates, pans, cutlery etc, there is a shortage of glassware (might be worth taking your own wine / beer glasses). The seating area is comfortable and we were all happy with the bedrooms. Plenty of positives about this accommodation and very handy for walking around Whitby.

Only one key provided in lockbox so we got another cut and left this when we left for other visitors to use. Lack of glasses (see above). There is a nice outside space but no furniture to make it usable. Some inexpensive plastic chairs and a table would do the job.

Clean and tidy. 5 minute walk into town centre, but still quiet.

The 36 steps up to the front door , followed by 3 flights of stairs to the living room. No place to hang things in the bathroom, or even a shelf. No wardrobes, just clothes rails and not many drawers. NO storage at all in the kitchen. All our food was piled up on top of the microwave. Only 4 dining chairs for 5 of us and not enough comfy seating for 5 in the living area. Parking space was a nightmare to get in and out of. A large vehicle has no chance. The living room window looks straight across into another property, so does not feel private.
