Everything was beyond expectations

This was one of the nicest stays I've had, and I've had hundreds. The location is good, on a slight incline down from the Beyazit tram stop. Big room with a large, comfortable bed, AC, a TV (though I never bothered watching), and an adequate kitchenette. It has big picture windows. Right across the street is a Christian church, if you feel like praying. Strong words of advice: *If you're tempted to save money by taking the Metro from the airport, don't do it. It is a grueling 15 minute walk from the terminal and then finding the right train and buying a ticket is confusing. You will then have to also take a bus and a tram. And chances are all three will be so packed you'll be standing up the entire time. Instead pay a little extra to take the shuttle. *The Basilica Cistern is a huge rip-off at the equivalent of 41 euros for a look around that takes no more than a half hour, and the price keeps going up. Instead find one of the lesser, cheaper cisterns nearby. The only attraction I found worth the exorbitant price is the Topkapi Palace. *The “designer” clothes and shoes sold nearby, especially in the Grand Bazaar, are, for the most part, fake, and not even close to being worth what they're asking.

The only things lacking we're a good cutting knife and a lid that fit the fry pan.

I stayed at Kubbe House for 7 nights (25 May to 1 June) & had a really great experience. The property is spacious & in an excellent location—about a 5-minute walk to Beyazit tram station, 5–10 minutes to the Grand Bazaar, and roughly 10–15 minutes on foot to the Blue Mosque. It’s very convenient for exploring the main historical sights in the area. One of the best parts is how lively and convenient the surroundings are. There are plenty of restaurants just less than 50 steps from the house—no exaggeration! You definitely won’t go hungry at night, with so many food options available nearby. The host, Abdullah, is very friendly & welcoming. He provided clear instructions & regularly checked in to see if anything was needed during the stay, which made everything smooth & comfortable. Overall, a very enjoyable & convenient stay in Istanbul.

There was a little bit of noise at night on some days due to the vibrant street food area & proximity to the Grand Bazaar, but it was not every night & didn’t significantly affect the stay. Overall, no complaints & a very enjoyable & convenient stay in Istanbul.
