High Lake

The location is perfect, central, restaurants just round the corner and main town was minutes walk away.

Only down side we had some noisy kids next door on the first night, which kept me awake, luckily it was only the first night. The bathroom had an amazing bath tub but the shower unit was a bit small, it could be bigger considering the size the of the bathroom there is plenty of space.

Great location, the flat was incredible clean and everything we needed to cook etc was provided.

It would’ve been nice to have some tea bags, milk etc but understand the emails did say to bring your own shopping.

Would prefer if there was a key box rather than going into Windermere to the office to collect and drop off.

We recently stayed at High Lake and had a pleasant experience overall. The keys need to be collected from their nearby office, which was easy to find and not far from the accommodation itself. The actual place is lovely—very quiet with plenty of parking. The location is fantastic, within walking distance of the high street and Bowness Pier, making it ideal for exploring the area. The rooms and kitchen are spacious and well-equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The staff at reception were very friendly and helpful, and we appreciated being able to check in early.

A couple of minor downsides: the pillows weren’t very comfortable, and there were no complimentary toiletries in the toilet.
