Fijne plek op een rustige locatie, centraal gelegen in het Lake District, met mooi uitzicht. Goede keuken voor het bereiden van maaltijden en een heerlijke bank om te relaxen na een wandeling. We hebben een heerlijke week gehad in Ramblers Rest.

Warm. Ample hot water. Well equipped kitchen.
Dated. Worn out and dirty looking bathroom cabinet. Cluttered bedroom. Not enough space under bed for suitcase stowage due to owner’s stuff. Outdated media stuff with no instructions cluttering the bedroom.

Lots of space in the kitchen/living area, was very comfortable and well equipped - we didn’t need to supply many extras! Great location - lovely views and plenty of walks straight from the property.
The bedroom was a little tight for space, quite big/clunky furniture but wasn’t a big issue.

The apartment was a lovely base for our holiday in the Lakes, the location was great and it was a lovely place to come back to after a day out.
Honestly there wasn't much to dislike. I suppose it would have been nice to have known about the water supply beforehand, as when we got there we saw signs saying that the water tanks supplying the apartment needed work so the water was not currently drinkable, but that only meant buying bottled water to drink instead.
