Being welcomed by a friendly host who even gave us 2lt of Rodda's milk. The comfy, free sleepers. A kitchen well equipped. But more than anything else, the historic buildings with their solidity, proportions, beauty; the way they have been renovated trying to keep their bones intact and valued; the level of comfort with independent heating, thick stone walls and wooden floors reclaimed from ship decking. Cremyll Ferry to Mount Edgcumbe, nice restaurants, a cinema, and a a gym being only a few steps away.
A bit more dusting (floors, rugs, kitchen drawers). The tumble dryer had a broken screen hence it was unusable, but no big deal as there was a clothes horse.

Nothing. Couldn’t fault a single thing.

The apartment was amazing and the little touches like slippers, tea, coffee, milk, condiments etc make all the difference when you're away and don't have to worry about buying or bringing them with you. Parking is also another bonus and was one of the reasons I picked this apartment.
The only small niggle was the lack of natural light which made it difficult to apply my makeup but like I said just a small niggle

This is a fantastic apartment in a great location. It is equipped with everything you need for a pleasant stay. Very peaceful and relaxing, but still has a nice buzz to the yard. Very clean and well kept, could not fault a thing. The large allocated parking spot just outside was especially helpful as parking in the yard is sometimes difficult. Madeleine kept us well informed of everything we needed for an easy check in and Sarah was fantastic in helping us out when we were delayed. No wonder this property is always booked when I’m looking for somewhere on my regular visits to Plymouth. For a two bed roomy modern apartment of this standard with parking it is fantastic value.

Lovely property. Very good condition. Two of the bathroom lights went out and they were fixed very quickly. The parking pass is a great addition and saves a lot of money.
The steps up to the apartment especially after a day of walking.

Lovely property in a unique location . Very spacious and good value for money. Sarah was very helpful on arrival.
Bath was really dirty on arrival
Blinds not functional in second bedroom and let in a lot of light
Spotlight hanging out from the ceiling in the bathroom
Shower pipe leaking badly near to the shower head

The apartment is quite stunning. The location is superb, situtated in an historic naval building complex, right by the estuary / sea. There are plenty of restautants / bars / cafes, plus a gym, cinema, and various boutique shops. There is easy access to the Barbican and Mount Edgcumbe (water taxi from very near the apartment) and to the City Centre by bus, on foot or Beryl Bike.
Seems trivial - having somewhere to hang coats, especially when wet, would be good.

Perfect location to explore all that Plymouth has to offer. Very stylish and spacious apartment that has everything you need for a home from home. Great restaurants, the ferry and a cinema on the doorstep. Madeleine was the perfect host going above and beyond when I left some clothes in a wardrobe. Thank you for your kindness.

Beautiful apartment in a very peaceful part of yard. Loved every bit of it and no negatives at all.
Leaving to go home.

We gave an eta of 1600-1700 but reached only at 1900, the host herself was present with the keys and she was pleasant.
The property is situated in a private area with a nice bar and restaurants very close. There is a coastal walk with good scenery.
There was nothing to dislike.

Spacious, warm, comfortable, quiet (unless you don’t like the sound of gulls). Excellent location.
Would help to have a second bedside lamp in the middle med room. The shower-to-bath flow mechanism is very difficult (and also dripping) to use and should be replaced. (Note there is no lift in this building at Royal William a yard - the 39 steps up to the property are good for building fitness!)

Absolutely nothing
No lift, considering I am a heart patient, bedroom nearest to bathroom, was absolutely filled with flies,I must have killed 5000
I was confined to the room,as there was NO LIFT.
We only spent 3 nights,instead 5.
We were absolutely shocked, with the accommodation, the poor quality of the apartment.

This apartment had everything, even things we had never thought of. It was beautiful, spacious - we were four adults and it was easy to 'escape' each other in the other rooms when we wanted to. The location was magical: Royal William Yard was a hub of activity but, being on the second row back from there, it was not noisy and did not intrude on the accommodation. There was a delightful craft market on the lawn one day. Restaurants and bars were two minute walk away and all offered something different.
Seagulls. I quite like seagulls but these were resting on the roof opposite and they never shut up! They had babies and it was some sort of nursery going on. We did get used to the noise and by day three had named some of the birds, but seriously be aware they keep going through the night so ear plugs or shut the windows ( it was hot when we were there and had windows open over night.

Everything. The place you could live. We enjoyed our holidays in Devon very much despite the weather which was not great for July.

Have stayed at RWY previously and it is a great place for restaurants and other facilities, also close to the city and gateway to Cornwall.
No lift in Clarence building, as this was on the upper floor, was a pain whilst carrying suitcases up and down, rubbish bins etc.
Other buildings within the RWY have lifts as we had stayed in them previously.
When we went to use the cooker, this had not been cleaned previously and smoked the apartment out.
Once owner informed, it was dealt with the following day.

The accommodation was really central and in a really lovely location, and we were able to witness some great sunsets.
Nothing really as it was all very well presented. The only thing I could have asked for was that a baking sheet would have made cooking easier, but that is a really small thing as everything else was great.
