Perfect!

Our stay was absolutely perfect. The guest house is about 15 minutes walk to the ski area and restaurants/bars which meant the area was quieter which suited us great. The room was spacious and very clean with all the facilities we needed like a mini fridge and kettle. The bed was also so comfy and we had a small balcony. Mariya and Ivan were so accommodating and always available to help, even offering to drive us to the next town when we missed our shuttle and couldnt get a taxi quick enough! The stay was perfect, and such good value for money- I would reccomend 100%.

Good location, comfortable and clean - highly reccommended!

Guest house Ivan is nicely decorated, spacious, with very nice host. Rooms are comfortable, very clean and cosy. Walking distance from center of Bansko. We stayed only one night out of ski or summer season, but we can warmly recommend this place and hope to return one day!

Big family room with separate bedrooms for child and parents, with small kitchen with fridge, kettle, and microwave was clean and comfortable. Beautiful garden with several places for enjoy evening.

Maria received us with a big smile and fluent English. She is very friendly and hospitable and made us feel right at home. When she saw us coming back from the supermarket with dinner groceries, she brought us plates, knifes and forks to our room. The place is well kept and very clean. Our room was on the top floor and had a little terrace facing the beautiful mountains. Downstairs there is a kitchen and dining room which looked very comfortable if you are planning on cooking yourselves. We were very happy to stay there, especially for the affordable price, and will definitely come again

Must stay!

Hosts are very nice and gave us a lot of good advice about where to go and where to eat. The yard was perfect for our 3 & 5 year old to play in. The family room is huge and well stocked with blankets, towels and toiletries. A great family house!

Quiet and cozy in a great location in Bansko.

I expected a simple room but got a room with a kitchenette, a dmall balcony, kitchen table and all. Cozy, clean and warm. The host was quick to respond and inviting, the place was quiet and the facilities were exceptionally well maintained.

There was no ash tray on the balcony but this was a very minor setback.

Amazing view of the mountains, cozy, traditional guesthouse with all the necessary amenities, heating turned to the max, quiet, toiletries provided, satellite TV, spacious rooms.

Tiny sink, water from the shower goes everywhere, curtains don't block sunlight completely.

guest house in Bansko for short stays

The owner was very available and helped me with everything I needed. I has a two rooms for my self even though I booked only one - for the same price. everything was clean and I had a feeling of a home great view form the balcony and the windows.

The guesthouse is far away from the center and from restaurants, cafes, so you should consider it before you come. In some nights I had very bad bites of insects from the beds or the sheets. The common space is not so big and I didn't see any more visitors in the guest house so it is not a place to meet other people or make friends.

Peaceful spacious room with the kindest host

The space was perfect for what we needed and it was a bonus to have the fridge and kettle available. Additionally, host was absolutely amazing. Very kind offering help with every thing we needed. Very much recommended

HORRIBLE! you can get much better for the same price (which is exactly what I am doing right now).

I didn't like anything there because I could not enjoy it - I guess if you're spending a night or two (max) you'll be fine.

The staff lady was following me all day and harrasing me with Rules and Regulations, interrupting with my work, and asking me for EXTRA CHARGES for anything - using the communal roon, the kitchen etc. She stopped only when I asked to shorten my stay and get a refund. No wonder that the place was mostly empty and depressing. Also - my room was not as specified - much smaller than 18sqm and with no desk, so I could not work from the hostel at all and had to spend money on cafes.
