About this house rental
At Rénou and Prosperou
This cottage has been open for rent since July 20th, all the tenants were delighted. I strive to improve the quality of the services. It is following advice that I made this announcement on this list.
Here is the charm of my house:
Old Sarlat house from 1870, located in a hamlet in the heart of the Périgord Noir, completely renovated mixing the charm of the old and modernity (air conditioning). This house is on a plot of 2.5 hectares (field and wood).
Located 5 minutes from Montignac, one of the most beautiful villages in France (Lascaux Caves), which borders the Vézère (swimming, fishing and canoeing, visit of castles), 3 kms from Saint Geniès (quality market).
15 kms from Sarlat (tourism, gastronomy and the Dordogne river), castles nearby. (Castle of Millandes, Beynac etc)
You will have a convivial kitchen which has all the necessary equipment and as a bonus of a cantou (fireplace). On the floor is rammed earth (cut stones) which keeps the authenticity of the house.
A large living room with exposed beams has a sofa bed that can increase the capacity of the house (2 people)
A master bedroom with storage space and separate shower room.
A dormitory for 5 people with bathroom and toilet.
Separate toilet on the living room level.
A laundry room and a cellar adjoining the kitchen.
In winter you can warm up around the fireplace in the kitchen, a "cocoon" country spirit of tranquility and in front of the wood hair in the living room! New Dec 2022
I have just built a covered terrace of more than 20m2 which brings a more read to the house, for your comfort.
The property is now fenced, it will allow you to have more tranquility.
New for summer 2026: a petanque court under the beautiful lime tree, for the evenings! a 6X3.5 swimming pool and a 50m2 terrace on a pedestal

Au milieu de la nature. Au calme. Et en même temps tout près des nombreuses curiosités qu’offre le Périgord noir. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour en famille dans ce gîte plein de charme et tout confort.
