Loved it, hope to return someday

The staff were so welcoming and always helpful. The breakfast is amazing. Can’t the location in the middle of town and walkable to everything. Rooms are cozy and feel new. Would recommend this place for sure. 10 out of 10.

Absolutely perfect hotel and wonderful base for hiking Val Gardena!

Residence Altea was perfect! Beautiful view, spacious, clean and very comfortable room. Wonderful welcome, lovely staff and great breakfast. The spa and outdoor space were bonuses! Quiet location but very easy walk to restaurants, shops and gondolas.

First class accommodation, with exceptionally kind staff.

Great location, perfect for access to Ortisei but just set back enough to be private, close to main cable cars, restaurants, high level of finish, everything worked, great layout, very comfortable, excellent breakfast, great communal health club, underground parking very convenient. The staff were so lovely and kind.

Traffic noise is fairly constant and windows need to be opened to remain cool.

Beautiful property with great view and you can walk everywhere. I cannot say enough about the staff. They were wonderful especially Monica. She has a wealth of information and is familiar with all the hikes. Breakfast was great too!

There is no air conditioning and I was a tad warm at night. To be fair though, the window opens and there was a nice mountain breeze so this might not be an issue for anyone else.

The location is fantastic, just a short walk to the main part of town with shops and restaurants. The property is extremely clean and thoughtfully organized with a convenient parking garage and laundry facility on the lower level. Monika who manages the property is an amazing host. She is very friendly and went out of her way to make our stay as comfortable as can be. Even after check out she gave access to a private room for storing luggage and freshening up after a morning of hiking

Excellent location; fast internet -- everything I needed for a remote work vacation

The breakfast was excellent. The WiFi was blazing fast. The location was absolutely perfect for walking everywhere. Parking was easy. The staff was friendly and helpful. I liked that there was a kitchen so I could make dinner while I worked (after my hiking adventures, of course!).

Great stay of 10 days in mid-late June. Not sure it would be as good with a full house, there were only a few parties when we were there. Great terrace with back yard view! Like having another room. Enough space for me to do my back stretches (like yoga). Excellent breakfast. great beds and shower. Loved the table for meals, working. Monika was RIGHT THERE IMMEDIATELY if we needed anything. The place desperately needs indoor curtains however! Yu might want to be aware that Ortisei, though great for hiking, including "senior" hiking, is not what I would call "quaint". And for sure I would stay away during July and August! Man O man it's going to be SO FULL and I think unpleasant. and likely hot. We did not find the restaurants that good. Plenty of high prices though!

Best accommodation - wished we stayed here longer! Spacious apartment, incredible breakfast, free covered parking.

Loved everything about this place - definitely the best accommodation we’ve had thus far over the past month travelling through Italy. We were lucky our room (305) was on the corner of the building, having nice mountain views from both windows. The room is an apartment with huge shower, kitchenette with stove, pots and pans (NB no oil, salt/pepper), cooking utensils, dishwasher, and balcony with mountain views. The building is relatively new and the room was very clean. Other amenities include a Wellness centre open from 16:00-20:00 with steam bath, sauna, hammam and spa. There is also a washing machine and dryer available (I think for a fee, but we never used it). Free covered parking under the building secured with gate access. Great spread of sweet and savoury food for breakfast. Super friendly lady who cooks eggs for you each morning. Convenient location a short walk from the Main Street in Ortisei, with supermarket, shops and from where you can catch cable cars.

it was perfect. Clean, beautifully decorated, homey, great facilities, close to ski lifts. Breakfast lady was super nice and customised best she could to our preferences.

The only fault I can find is that the conditioner they provided wasn’t very good.

Residence Altea was an ideal stay. The accommodations were comfortable, spacious, and clean. The property star was very friendly, courteous, and accommodating. The provided breakfast was delicious and each of our family members was happy with the variety of food selections offered. The staff also accommodated special requests for omelettes etc. The spa areas was very lovely, clean, and well-maintained. The ambiance was very serene and comforting as well. The best part about this property is that it's an apartment stay. So the apartments were spacious and well-appointed. You could bring food in, if necessary, and make good use of the small kitchen space. The interiors are new, modern, and clean. Our stay was for 7 people, with a 5, 7, 13, and 15-year old, as part of our group. Everyone was very comfortable and pleased with our stay.

The only disadvantage is the early hours check-out time.

We had a lovely stay at Altea while in Ortisei. Monika was a lovely welcome and was helpful throughout our stay. The room was spacious, very clean and had everything we needed - including items to cook, towels and robes for the Wellness area, etc. The residence was located just outside of the pedestrian area in town so easy to walk to restaurants, shops and all of the cable cars. and the breakfast was delicious, with a great staff!

Beautiful interior design. We must have been one of the first guests, everything looked very new. This place was super clean, not a speckle of dust could be detected. The lady at the front desk borrowed her personal hiking poles to us(!)

Highly recommended!

This is an excellent hotel in the center of the village, just a minute walk from the pedestrian area. The room was large and very well decorated with nice view to the garden and the mountains. The wellness center is great. Everything felt fresh and new. Breakfast was excellent as well. They also let us leave the car at the parking garage after we checked out so we could walk to the Seceda cable station (a couple minutes walk) and return at the afternoon to pick the car.

We really enjoyed our stay in Altea. The room was 10 of 10 expectations with all the comfortable things for stay: new styled kitchen, loft style room, comfortable bed and warm lovely bathrobe :) The hotel has very cool location: 5 minutes to Seceda funicular and 5 minutes to Alpe de Siusi funicular on foot. All the pros: free of charge private parking place, polite staff, stunning view, free of charge wellness room 🥰 The place where we’d like to return

no airconditioning is really a bummer. and because of the outside placed blinds sleeping with the windows open is not an option. also spa opening times are too short (4 pm-8 pm), especially because its nice to go to the spa after dinner. so its should be open till at least 10 Pm

Great stay

This is a perfect place where to stay! Location is great, near to a lot of cabins, centre of the city is 5minutes by foot where you can also make your shopping. Room is really nice and clean with a great view. There is no problem with glutenfree diet, they have provided me glutenfree version for breakfast. Monica and her collegue were always helpfull and with smile on their faces. Thank you for a great stay, we have enjoyed it a lot!

Best accommodation in Ortisei

Everything is perfect. It's a comfortable and nice accommodation. The room is spacious and clean, and the bed is comfortable. The kitchen has all the household goods you need. The shower room is big and comfortable. Breakfast is excellent. Sauna facilities are also too comfortable and flawless. Alpe di Siusi from the terrace of the room is so beautiful.

The checkout time is 9 o'clock, so you have to hurry after breakfast. I want it to be a little late.

Residence Altea did not disappoint! Great all-around stay and awesome property!

Residence Altea was an all-around excellent stay for us! Easy check-in process, secure gated garage parking, sparkling new and modern property, great amenities, good breakfast in the morning, and situated right in downtown area so walkable to anything you might want to do! The wellness area with two saunas and a steam room was incredible - used each evening during the 16:00-20:00 hours - really appreciated having access to that facility as well!

Bed was very firm - otherwise, difficult to find much that we didn't like with this property. I have to type a full other sentence just to complete the 'what didn't you like?' section! :)

Absolutely recommend staying here!

Very spacious and modern rooms! great value for the price! The shower had good water pressure and everything was very clean and comfortable. Robes and slippers were included for use at the spa, which is a very modern spa. The whirlpool was great after a day of hiking. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. We had our laundry done here as well, which was very nice and affordable. Great, quiet location in short walking distance to restaurants and the cable cars up to Seceda and Seiser Alm. We wish we could have stayed longer, we loved this place!
