4 of us stayed in Villa Martiner 6 nights for a glorious stay in this breathtaking spot in Ortesei. Monika our host was generous and thoughtful. The house has beautiful wood molding, superior finishes, a fantastic dine-in kitchen, an elegant dining room, clean luxurious bathrooms and just wonderful space all around. One thing we noted is that the location of the house, up on the hill, above the town, provides not only gorgeous vistas, but that the sunny location kept us on the bright side of life the entire time. We did not have a car, so found ourselves getting invigorating exercise trekking up and down the hill. Never cracked the bus route, but did realize (and had a big laugh over the fact) the escalator from the town square to Seceda drops us off right near the house. Monika recommended a wonderful restaurant, Snetonstube, and gave us bus and spa passes. We loved our stay and would have been happy to move in and never check out, quite frankly.
