A warm welcome from François on arrival confirmed that we were going to love this beautiful chambre d’hôtes just outside Mazan. François cooked us a beautiful menu one evening anmd recommended a couple of other restaurants for us to try - both wonderful. Immaculate gardens, lots of places to relax and sip a drink in the evening. A dip in the pool. Wonderful breakfast in the garden. It’s a great place to base yourself if cycling in the area (Mont Vonteux & Gorge d’vanesque). We visited when it was very hot so the AC in the rooms was a welcome relief. Thank you again. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again when in the area. :-) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Beautiful building, comfortable and spacious accommodation with decent aircon in our room & a small fridge (unfortunately unplugged when we arrived but eventually cooled down). We had two delicious evening meals prepared with a lot of care & local wine at sensible prices. No TV or coffee making facilities in the rooms but there is a TV, Nespresso machine, kettle and honesty bar in the communal lounge. The couple who run la MaiZon are really lovely and do everything they can to ensure you have a wonderful stay in their home. The pool was lovely in the ridiculous heat and I loved that their dog Mao kept us company by playing with his ball by the pool. Highly recommended accommodation, wouldn't hesitate to return.

Cooler weather would have been perfect for us as we aren't used to 35-40 degree heat, but it was a great spot even in the heat 😁

This was a highlight on our bike trek around Provence. Lovely grounds in the middle of the vineyards, delightful rooms and really good breakfast. But the host, Françoise, takes the cake. She was awesome. She cooked a special ‘regional’ dinner for the 4 of us which was delicious with the fish main course being a standout. It would be worth going back just for that alone. Highly recommended.
