Welcome to River Reach, a relaxed and family-friendly retreat on Florida’s Nature Coast.
This is a place to slow down and enjoy time together. Mornings often begin on the deck overlooking the canal, days are spent out on the water, and evenings wind down around the fire pit.
The home spans three comfortable levels, offering space to gather while still allowing everyone room to spread out. The ground floor provides a convenient area to unpack and get organized for your adventures, including fishing, scalloping, boating, and other outdoor activities. This level also features a full-size refrigerator, a beverage refrigerator, and a casual bar area. It’s an easygoing space for puzzles, movies, or watching a game, with generous seating and a blow-up mattress available for kids or extra overnight guests.
The second floor is the main living space and includes the kitchen, dining area, living room, and primary suite. Large glass walls fill the space with natural light and open to a spacious deck overlooking the canal, an ideal spot for meals, morning coffee, or simply keeping an eye on the activity outside.
On the third floor, you’ll find two additional bedrooms and a shared bathroom, creating a comfortable setup for children, extended family, or friends traveling together.
Outside, the property features a dock large enough to accommodate most center console boats, along with a fire pit and a convenient “catch of the day” cleaning station, making time on the water simple and enjoyable.
Additional amenities include two bicycles, two paddle boards, a charcoal grill, and a hammock. River Reach is also close to local shops, casual restaurants, parks, and the many outdoor spaces that define Florida’s Nature Coast.

We loved our stay! The house was amazing. Perfect location on the canal and very close to everything homosassa has to offer. The boat dock was wonderful and the house has been tastefully renovated to keep its rustic charm. Our family will be wanting to return soon! Thanks so much!

We had so much fun at this home and enjoyed every minute of our time. The hosts were super friendly and communicative throughout the stay. The location is perfect for easy access to the gulf or the springs, right near food options as well. The home was clean and made us feel right at home. Would love to go back and stay again!

We spent our winter in this delightful house and loved it so much we hope to be here next year! - Owners were the best landlords we’ve ever had. They let us know whenever a maintenance crew would be on the property, communicated any information we needed and always responded immediately to our needs. Very nice, cordial people, a pleasure to do business with.- This is a great house - we came to relax and kick back for the winter and the house had everything we needed: a great waterfront, quiet neighborhood, comfy furniture and excellent beds! It was a breeze to keep clean, all supplies provided. - The house is in the golf cart community area of Homosassa so we made great use of our golf cart to go everywhere, just loved it!I can’t say enough good things about the house and our winter season here. Thanks for sharing your perfect getaway place, Ashley and Jay!!

Fantastic home in fantastic location. Inside, the home is good size, very comfortable and well appointed. If it were just that, we’d still love to return… but who wants to sit inside with the natural beauty available right outside? Take advantage of morning or evening (or midday) serenity on the large deck overlooking a gorgeous bend in the creek. If peaceful appreciation of nature is your thing, bird watching and the occasional dolphin and manatee provide the perfect backdrop. Go for a bike ride or get on the water on paddle boards or your own boat sitting on the available boat lift. We weren’t familiar with Homosassa before this visit, but it’s definitely high on our list now. Great food, active small town bar scene and good people all around. Thanks Jay and Ashley!
