About this house rental
Charming circa 1820 antique newly renovated. close to downtown Chatham (1.5 miles). Close to Fish Pier, Ryders Cove, Oyster Pond, coffee shops and Chatham A's ball field. A large outdoor deck sits under a large sycamore tree for outdoor dining and lounging. Multiple outdoor decks and patio spaces. Summer outdoor fire pit and large outdoor shower complete this peaceful getaway. New kitchen, baths and furniture. 1st floor has 2 large en suite king size bedrooms/baths. One with private deck; the other dressing room (suitable for infant if needed). Upstairs (2nd floor) has 1 queen w/sep dressing room and 4th bdrm has 2 built in ship bunks.One bath with shower/tub on 2nd floor. Perfect for 2-3 couples, Or family. Appropriate for up to 6 adults and children (not to exceed 8 total). This is an antique so access to 2nd floor has somewhat narrow stairway (see pic). In Season: This is a Saturday to Saturday rental i(or Sun to Sun) n the summer season (some exceptions). 6 day minimum. Check in is 3pm and check out is 9 am. Limit of 6 adults. Adults and children combination; 8 maximum. We are strict on this thank you. Bed Linens and Towels Provided. No beach towels; sorry. We live nearby and respond with any issues/questions quickly.

My family and I had a wonderful week in Chatham. The house was perfect for 6 adults and one child. The home has been tastefully renovated yet retains the original Cape Cod charm of the 1800’s. Jean was easy to communicate with and had snacks, wine, and fresh flowers from the yard for us when we arrived. The house was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed for the week (paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap, etc-everything!) We ventured out most days, but were glad to wind down our day in comfortable beds and cozy home.

We had an amazing time! Not only is the home and property beautiful, the hospitality was absolutely heartwarming. Jean and her husband are great communicators. Everything was explained thoroughly to us. There was a bottle of wine, cheese and crackers there for us- such a lovely touch! There was information on the home and various activities and sites to experience in the area. You must eat a meal on the deck! Wonderful! Can’t say enough about this home and it’s delightful owners!

We stayed with three children and four adults at this beautiful home for a September wedding weekend. The host Jeanne was so gracious and organized, and the home is lovely and so well located. I would absolutely recommend this home!

Beautiful older classic cape house tastefully decorated and upgraded but still holds on to its old world charm. Very comfy, great location, great amenities and lets not forget the GRACIOUS HOSTS!I cant imagine anyone would be disappointed with this house as a choice for their getaway.Peter kennedy
