About this house rental
Very private lakefront setting with spectacular views and private beach. Filled with Charm. It was the original Ice House for the Town of Chatham. Current owners family summer home since 1970. Wonderful spot for family gatherings. Close to local beaches and downtown.
This home comfortably sleeps 12. There are 5 bedrooms, 3 living rooms, 3 baths and an outdoor shower. Comes with a full kitchen and dining room perfect for family dinners. There are 2 beautiful decks and a patio where you can enjoy warm sun during the day and beautiful sunsets at night.
There is a private beach with direct access to the lake with a floating dock. We have a canoe, a kayak, and two paddle boards. The lake is perfect for swimming and floating all day. The setting is so tranquil you will never want to leave!

Our family enjoyed staying at this home. Waking every day to the lake view was so beautiful. House has multiple areas for family to hang out. Very quaint. Enjoyed fishing and kayaking. Lots of fish caught. Chatham is a beautiful town. We made lots of memories and can’t wait to return!
Communication with house manager was quick and effective. Overall was an amazing stay!

We had a lovely stay in Myra’s home~ The Ice House. The owner Myra was very attentive & very easy to communicate with. The home had a picturesque backyard. Every morning we looked forward to sitting out back and looking at the lake, while the kids fished (and caught soooo many fish). Canoeing and paddle boarding in the lake was very peaceful. The home was equipped with everything we needed and gave the true Cape Cod experience. Our family created so many memories at this home and we hope to make it a yearly family vacation! Highly recommend staying here and creating your own family memories! Thank you again Myra for opening your home to us! ~ The Carbone Family

This home had everything and more one could ask for my family of 10 The location on the lake was magical and the home was equally amazing. We all had plenty of room for meals, entertainment and the use of a kayak, paddle board and canoe for the lake with life jackets for the grandkids 8 and under.. In spite of the cost, the memories we made are worth every penny. I would highly recommend this property hosted by Myra to everyone.
