About this cottage rental

Fully refurbished country cottage in a peaceful, accessible location. Excellent facilities with outdoor garden space.
A quaint cottage which has gone through a full refurbishment, as you walk into the front door you enter the lounge area which has retained an open fire and beams yet has a modern large wall tv and a lovely seating area. features. OVER 150 YEARS OLD RETAINING AS MANY FEATURES AS WE COULD IN THE RENOVATION. ADD A HOT TUB FOR YOUR STAY AT ADDITIONAL COST.
Over three stories with full bathroom and the main bedroom having a en-suit it is perfect for up to 6 people.
Only a short distance from Blackpool, the Lake District, Yorkshire Dales & the Ribble Valley to name but a few. Once booked guests will be sent details of how to access the property to which they will have full use

We stayed for 4 weeks (Dec22/Jan23), and we had a number of requests prior to our arrival which were all fulfilled. Despite located off a busy road, the cottage was extremely quiet and a lovely place to relax. The facilities were excellent and all in working order. Also the host was extremely helpful when we raised our initial requests and subsequent questions.

Clean and nicely furnished….but amenities not as described
The property was clean and nicely furnished. However we were disappointed that the description of the property was not accurate…. The property does not have an en-suite, it is not over three floors, the garden is not dog friendly, the wall on one side is low and fallen down in places, our dog jumped into next doors garden easily. The garden itself was overgrown with many stinging nettles, the patio was badly cracked and uneven….not suitable for small children. Property was described as having a DVD player, coffee machine, BBQ but none of these are at the property. The hot tub advertised has to be arranged and paid for by the renter and the company we were given details for was unable to get a hot tub into the garden. Also the double bed was a small double (4ft), and there is no hanging space in either of the two single rooms.
