We have used this hotel on a couple of occasions, because there is no other in Kirkintilloch, however its a budget hotel and that's really all you can say, staff were friendly, hotel and very basic room clean.
Rooms are small OK for 1 night stay, bed was OK but pillows I didn't like, room was also cold however once I found out how to turn on the heating soon heated up. Breakfast wasn't great not much selection, cold plate meant cooked breakfast was cold quickly. Very basic.

The staff could not have been more friendly or helpful. In particular, Paula who greeted me at reception and made sure my room was ready for me. As a solo traveller I felt safe and well cared for. The hotel was beautifully decorated, clean and great value for money. The breakfast was exceptional.

Good staff. Great breakfast.
The room was basic.
It was quite cold with no carpet on the floor and just wooden flooring. The toilet wobbled when say in and there was no hot water from the shower even though it came out the tap.
