About this cottage rental
Cocooning atmosphere for this 2 bedroom cottage with a large partially covered terrace. A little apart, overlooking a beautiful meadow, it will welcome you for stays as a couple or as a family, to meet you and share a relaxing and authentic holiday.
Designed for the pleasure of living as close as possible to nature, the Combarelles gite is located in a renovated traditional Périgord complex overlooking the Beune valley, classified as a remarkable Natura 2000 natural space representative of the sub-Mediterranean areas of the Dordogne, and as a unique archaeological area with the highest concentration in the world of engraved Paleolithic sites.
The living room and terrace are facing west. Large shared swimming pool.
In peak season, we welcome you from Sunday to Sunday, between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m.
We thank you for cleaning your cottage at the end of your stay.

We have set up a barn with at your disposal : two table-tennis tables, one baby-foot, and bicycles : it's the favorite rallying point for children...
The Lascaux cave, nicknamed Sistine Chapel of parietal art, Les Eyzies, capital of prehistory, Sarlat, the most famous of the medieval towns, the Padirac chasm, the incredible castles of the Dordogne valley, the wild Vézère valley.
We can advise you for sightseeing and gourmet tours as well as for hikes in the many nearby sites.

L'endroit est très agréable et en pleine nature, il faut une voiture pour se rendre à la ville la plus proche. C'était très calme car nous étions les seuls locataires et avons pu pleinement profiter de la piscine. Les photos sur le site mélangent les 3 gites et le notre n'avait pas de belle vue. Le gite était bien équipé et confortable et les propriétaires accueillants et discrets.

Volledig uitgerust huisje met alles erop en eraan. Prachtige omgeving, rustig en centraal gelegen voor alle bezienswaardigheden. Een échte aanrader!

Gute Lage in sehr schöner Umgebung, sehr ruhig, großer sauberer Pool, Gesamtanlage mit ländlichem Charme, Wohnung zweckmäßig eingerichtet.

Gîte négligé, dommage! Vaisselle rangée mouillée et mal lavée, ustensiles de cuisine et couvercle gras: en période de covid 19, nous aurions souhaité un lieu plus propre! le frigo est sans freezer alors qu'il n'y a pas de congélateur. La disposition cuisine salle de bain WC nécessiterait un extracteur d'air plus efficace car on est saisi, en arrivant, par l'odeur de moisissure.
Côtés positifs: les lits sont confortables (mais une couette de courte dimension a nécessité l'ajout d'un manteau pour les pieds), de belles décorations ornent les murs. Nous avons apprécié la terrasse ouvrant sur la campagne et la confiture de prune offerte par les propriétaires. Ce gîte est idéalement situé pour rayonner et voir en peu de kilomètres toutes les splendeurs de la Dordogne auxquelles vous pensez.
