Costal Base trains of Wales outings.

Very good use of an old church that is divided into numerous apartments. The layout of my self contained flat was quirky but functional.

There was a leak in the bedroom roof. Nothing major and east to fix.

Nice living area and fully stocked kitchen. Great area.

Obviously room 4 has a damp problem. The smell of damp was overwhelming to the point of causing breathing discomfort. The excessive amount of air freshers in the room highlighted the owners awareness of the problem. The bathroom toilet also had uncleaned faeces on arrival. Disappointing.

We had a lovely, relaxing holiday in a great flat.

The location was fantastic. The overall cleanliness and appearance of the flat were great. We have stayed here before and the standards have not dropped, which was good.

The step out of the bath was a bit high for me - I'm 5 feet tall, but other than that there was nothing that we didn't like.

Could have been great but was terrible

Beautiful church. Small but everything you need. Common areas were worn and not the best.

From the moment I opened the door the smell of air fresheners was overpowering. After a few hours and a shower I realised that the carpet next to the bed was soaking wet and had a terrible musty smell. In day 8 it was finally rectified. There were 4 days when I couldn’t shower as it was discovered that the trap from the bath had come away and was leaking straight onto the floor under the bath and so straight onto the floor in bedroom. Obviously has been a long time hence the smell when I arrived. As I checked out on 26/2 floor was still absolutely soaking. No compensation was offered seeing as I was unable to shower almost half of my stay and had to keep leaving the key for workmen.

A pleasant week.

The flat was lovely and comfy in a good location with lots of facilities close by.

The key box was not easy to identify from the instructions - we tried a lot of boxes before locating the correct one. The TV was a nightmare to use because it didn't listen to the remote. From the photos on Booking.com, the impression was that there was a view of the sea however we were extremely disappointed to find that our view was of the walls in the building opposite; the main reason we chose this flat was for the sea view. It is misleading to have a picture as if it is the view when it was not.

The apartment is contemporary and cozy. I love the little touches, the teapot and quality cups, and milk and a bara brith waiting for us. The location is great oo and the furnishings comfy.

best town in north Wales

Beautiful coastal town with historic castle. Regular hourly train to other costal locations. Friendly and welcoming people, especially in local cafes and fish and chip shops.

Dirty bathmat and untidy entrance hall. Busy road through the town with chaotic parking causing congestion.

Lovely setting near beach.

Good location, near beach, shops and easy to reach other places. Nicely furnished, excellent wifi.

Bathroom small and shower didn't drain well. Lovely thick carpet throughout but could do with a box or container in hallway to put wet/messy 👞into to save dirtying carpet!

Lovely Comfortable Room, Great Location

Room was beautiful, very comfortable, spacious and clean, perfect location! Very comfy bed, we had a great sleep both nights. I loved all of the little games, DVDs etc.... a really nice touch + the cake.

We did have a really lovely stay, however there were a few things that were dissapoinying mainly due to the price we had paid and the points are fairly basic.... Firstly the tea pot on the side was dirty and had mold inside, such a shame as we bought some scones and we were gonna have a little afternoon tea on the sofa because of the rain, I know things can be missed which can sometimes slide, but during covid I would of expected things to be extra clean, a couple of the mugs in the cupboard were also dirty. also the hot water running from the bath and sink was never hot, I did push the boost button in the airing cupboard, but it never got hot, only a shame because I always wash my face and never use make up wipes, I also prefer a bath to shower but the water never got hot... the shower was lovely and hot though. Lastly I think some individual tea sachets would of been perfect, as there was some milk in the fridge, such a little thing that would of made such a difference to us, which would help justify the cost of the stay for us.
