המיקום מעולה להתנהלות רגלית בתל אביב. חדר מרווח דיו כך גם המקלחת, מים חמים בשפע ובזרם טוב. החדר נקי ונוח. כל הנחוץ לקפה, תה, בישול פונקציונלי נמצא. מלאי של מגבות להחלפה היה בארון בחדר. למי שהשימושיות חשובה - התמורה למחיר מצוינת.
אין חניה למלון, וקשה למצוא חניה סמוכה, בפרט בימי השבוע ובעונת הקיץ. אפשר לחנות באחד המגרשים שעל החוף - מוסיף לעלות ומחייב הליכה. בשעות היום והערב, עד שהתנועה בטיילת הרברט סמואל נרגעת, יש רעש של סירנות ואופנועים בחדר, מדי פעם.
