HALE Kyoto Tambaguchi ハレ京都丹波口

Location was in a pleasant neighborhood and walkable to the local train station. The room was well thought out with nice attention to detail. Hot water vending machine provided in the reception area was free to use and teabags provided in the room which was a nice touch.

Good location but rooms were excellent, clean and modern with very comfortable beds. Well laid out space for 2 people to share

The hotel is located in a quiet area, but is well connected with the train stations. The rooms are well equipped and clean. The staff is friendly and the check-in process very easy

Certain aspects of the hotel design were interesting

The staff was difficult to track down, the room key was issued for a room that was not yet cleaned, the taxi request took 10 min to place (again because the staff was not at the reception desk), and then it took almost 20 min for one to arrive. The hotel is situated literally in the middle of a working industrial zone (largest fresh vegetable & fruit market in the city), although 5 min from a train station.
