What a wonderful stay. It was like staying with family - homecooked meals, a cosy setting with daily snacks, tea and a washing service. Morio and Yoshiko went out of their way to help us, including giving a ride to the police box when we lost a bag (and help speaking Japanese to locate it) and to the train station when we left. The inn is a short walk from Tamabugchi station, linking up easily with many of the famous sights of Kyoto.

That was the best place we've ever stayed in! With the most hospitable, kind and attentive hosts, we felt as comfortable as at home! The ryokan was extremely clean, beautiful and equipped with all necessary facilities and even more, everything to make our stay as convenient as possible.
The separate topic is the breakfast. It was cooked and kindly served by the hosts themselves and was absolutely delicious, so we got acquainted with the Japanese cuisine in the best manner possible.
In addition, we were absolutely delighted by the dog of the hosts! She is gorgeous!
All in all, that was a great experience and we wish the hosts all the best and hope very much to return to this wonderful place again!
