Unwind at this welcoming two-story coastal home, located just across the road from Waiotahe Beach and the estuary. Well suited to families or groups, the home offers 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a light-filled open-plan living space with a fully equipped kitchen, dining, and lounge.
Step out onto the spacious deck with BBQ, perfect for relaxed outdoor meals after a day at the beach. With year-round comfort including a heat pump and fireplace, and a convenient location between Opotiki and Whakatane, this home is an ideal base to explore the Eastern Bay, enjoy fishing, coastal walks, and beach days.
Guests have exclusive use of the entire property.
The Space
The home is spread over two levels for comfort and space. Downstairs features two bedrooms, including the master, plus a bathroom. Upstairs you’ll find the third bedroom, second bathroom, and the main living area.
The open-plan kitchen, dining, and lounge flow seamlessly onto the deck, creating an easy indoor-outdoor living setup. The kitchen is fully equipped for preparing meals, whether it’s a quick breakfast or a shared dinner with family and friends.
Guest Access
You’ll have full, private access to the entire home during your stay.

Water Supply:
The property uses tank water, so please be mindful of usage, particularly in summer.
Road Safety:
The home is separated from the beach by a busy State Highway. Please take care when crossing and supervise children at all times.

To ensure coverage for any incidental damages or additional costs during your stay, Bush to Bay Holiday Stays requires a $250 pre-authorisation hold on your credit card, which will be taken two days prior to check-in.
This is not an actual charge. The funds are simply reserved and will be released after check-out, provided the property is left in good condition and no additional charges apply. Release times may vary depending on your bank’s processing time.
If the pre-authorisation cannot be successfully completed prior to check-in, the reservation may be cancelled in accordance with our booking terms and no refund will be issued.

So relaxing, house makes you feel welcome and comfortable. Cant wait to come back. The only downside.....having to leave and come home...lol

Good location for our event we attended. Great to have two bathrooms and a full kitchen to use.
Plenty of space. Was able to watch the All Blacks too , so a bonus !

A spacious house that is fairly well appointed although could do with a bit of a refresh. Good location although the highway traffic is noisy and fairly constant. Enjoyed the long beach walks.
