About this house rental
Expansive views out to volcanic White Island, Whale Island, The Raurimus, down the coast to the Islands off Tauranga in the distance from this modern luxury home. Nestled among native trees and subtropical gardens high on the hill behind Whakatane township, a quiet location with the Observatory being at the end of the cul de sac street to observe the southern skies. A perfect central destination for outdoor enthusiasts and families to discover the beautiful beaches, Harbour, walking and cycle tracks etc. Just down the road is a walking track to beautiful Otarawairere Bay, a secluded beach only accessible on foot or by kayaks, the track also leads you to New Zealands most loved beach "Ohope Beach" so safe to swim and enjoy all water sports. From land based fishing experiences to adventuring out to sea, the boat ramp is only 1.9km away.The Whakatane golf club is less than 10 minutes away as is the Awakeri thermal Hot Springs.
Cities, Tauranga and Rotorua are only 1 hours drive away for more attractions.

Outdoor furniture for 10 on the huge deck makes for great indoor/ outdoor flow.

We had a wonderful stay. The kitchen had everything I could hope for as a passionate cook. The view and feel of the place was stunning. Lorraine was extremely helpful and accommodating. Would definitely stay again x

Native bird life was amazing. Very spacious and welcoming. Kitchen well equippedHard to fault this property. Views were incredible and we loved the outdoor area ibcluding the spa.

Our stay at Pacific Ocean Heights was just lovely. Beautifully presented, comfortable and outstanding views! The accommodation is spacious with many indoor spaces for a family to enjoy inside. The outside is real treat with never ending views and lovely sun drenched terrace, perfect for the spring sunshine! We also enjoyed time together in the hot tub. We would love to visit again!

The property was exactly as advertised. very spacious home with everything you could want during your stay.Kitchen was especially well equipped.Views were to die for. Hot tub was a nice little extra.
