Hotel Bora

What an absolutely wonderful experience! Of all the places we visited during our travels through Albania, Hotel Bora was genuinely one of the highlights! Set in a beautiful, peaceful countryside location, this family-run property offers something a little different from your typical hotel stay. The family who live downstairs were incredibly friendly, welcoming and hospitable, making us feel right at home. Our two children absolutely loved exploring the little farm out the back, meeting the chickens, goats and cows. It was such a lovely experience for them and a wonderful opportunity to enjoy a slice of authentic rural Albanian life. The surroundings are incredibly peaceful, with beautiful countryside views and plenty of fresh air. Whether you're a family travelling through Albania, a travel blogger looking for somewhere interesting and authentic, a digital nomad wanting a change of scenery, or simply someone looking to escape the crowds and enjoy some well-deserved R&R, this place is a real find! A special mention also goes to our hosts for recommending **Agroturizëm Ura e Sulovës**, where we enjoyed an absolutely amazing dinner experience. Another highlight that we might otherwise have missed! Hotel Bora is so much more than just accommodation. It's the people, the animals, the peaceful setting and the genuine hospitality that make it special. We left with wonderful memories and would happily return. Highly recommended!

Communication with the property was excellent. We arrived very late & this was not a problem. Everything served at breakfast was lovely & was all made or grown on site by the family (eg. olives, cheese, bread) Where we ate breakfast was particularly lovely, in a sheltered open space on the ground floor where we sat with the host.

A perfect stay for a one night accommodation that we needed while traveling. Quiet place, pleasant host (even though not speaking english). We were glad for the stay and the tasty breakfast.
