The historic Villa del Gattopardo is a magical delight. Recently restored to its former glory, it is an oasis of calm, beauty, and history. In other words, this place is a true wonder! From the outstandingly kind and helpful staff (thank you Emmanuela and Joshua), to the gorgeously appointed rooms and grounds to the scrumptious breakfasts and dinners, everything made us feel like royalty. The fact that Tommasi de Lampedusa wrote his famous novel The Leopard (now a Netflix series) there was an added bonus. Cannot recommend any higher and would love to return!

There was not one thing I did not like. location, room, staff, food, atmosphere were all excellent.

The major villa is beautiful, but realistically you can only spend your breakfast time there. Breakfast war ok, rather poor to average.
The room was very dark, separated from the villa, furnished with only outdated and unpractical furniture. It smells terrible in the room. Bad and very cheap bath equipment.
