BBQ hut excellent. Hot tub great. overall comfort good.

A chair in each bedroom would have been handy. The down stairs double bedroom bedside lamp requires a replacement bulb.

Excellent holiday home

Dalfern Lodge is a very spacious comfortable house in a quiet area. It was clean with great facilities, everything u need to cook , plenty towels and bathrobes, TV and streaming, hot tub was excellent and my boys loved the pool table and darts as well as board games. Owners emailed to check if everything was fine, it was, there is nothing to complain about with this house rental. Lovely walks nearby which my dog enjoyed and plenty restaurants and takeaway places within a leisurely stroll or short drive. Would definitely recommend

Amazing stay and perfect for large family

Absolutely perfect for large family , beds so comfortable and so much space, grandchildren loved the outdoor playhouse and toasting marshmallows in the outdoor bbq hut . Great location, near to Aviemore and lovely walks. House had everything you needed

Fabulous house, we didn’t want to leave.

Very spacious and extremely comfortable. The house was immaculate and very well stocked with utensils and kitchenware. Outdoor amenities are excellent and the BBQ/fire pit hut is amazing. Lots of books to browse and games for the children to play with and the pool table and darts were a big win.

Perfect stay at the Shambles!

We had a fantastic weekend at the Shambles. A beautiful house with great facilities, especially the hot tub and BBQ hut. Its comfortable and has everything you need just like home from home. Ideally situated on the outskirts of Aviemore. we would definitely book to stay again.

outstanding property for large family group.

sSunning spacious property with plenty opportunities for a multi generation family to have their own space and also come together. BBq hut and hot tub were fantastic and plenty of board games etc. Lovely welcome with treats in the hamper. We had no reason to contact anyone as everything was perfect.

Early summer get away

The property was a nice size and felt very homely. It was well furnished and there was plenty to do in the house. It was about a 30 min walk away from the main part of aviemore so you feel a bit far out but it was in a very nice area

It was often quite hot so we struggled to sleep something like a fan would be decent
