Problems with curtains for two of the windows. No microwave oven in the kitchen. Single duvets would be preferable over double duvets.

Balcony view on vallée de Chamonix, la Verte, Mont Blanc, Aiguille du Tour, Glacier du Tour, Aiguilles de Chamonix, Bathroom (shower and vasque, both with hot and cold water on demand), kitchen starter pack, preparation of beds and towels packs, the welcoming bottle of rosé, the library, the binoculars for guests, the little secretary table, the parking with gate

Entire apartment fits for maximum 2 people according to my standards/expectations (I was alone, so OK for me), living room furnitures (a convertible canapé and a canapé) are end of use and not comfortable to watch TV or for a longer stay, refridgerator too cold (even at position 1), blinds out of order (or did not find the way to use them), if litter should be recycled, the apartment should prepare 3 litter boxes and inform on location of collection center, beds for kids, not for adults, certainly not for 2.

Very quiet location. Views are incredible.

Arrangements for wifi were not clearly explained, but once sorted it was fine. Could do with separate bins for recycling and general waste.

Excellent stay for 2, fine stay for 4

Good beds, close to public transport, close to running trails.

We stayed for a week and for a family of 4 it eventually gets small, especially since there is no wardrobe to put clothes in. Also the check in is kinda involved compared to most of our other stays. And receiving a 4 page pdf with check in instructions a few hours before the arrival is not the thing you want to do in a car and on the phone.

I would definitely book it again (despite minor issues)

A good quality private rental in a charming old-fashioned building: all that you need for a family skiing break in the Chamonix valley. This good-sized apartment is a little dated but clean and largely fully functional. Large family dining table, comfy sofas, quality beds, amply linen&towels, sufficient kitchenette! Headline attraction is the exceptional view - even better than the advertising suggests.

The negatives: the blinds are completely broken (and have been for some time). This is generally fine unless you are particularly light sensitive. The WiFi didn't work, one gets a warning from SFR that the bill has not been paid (We just used 4G instead). The building's pipework needs a good unblocking somewhere as the shower easy overflows at high flow (moderate flow is okay, the filter was cleaned well, so it wasn't a fault of the apartment).
