Even without the awful experience with the owner, we would not recommend anyone to stay here - at the most just one nigh

Location was close to the city, but it was a quiet area. There was a snack basket with a bottle of wine, bag of chips and some bananas. Nothing fancy but still a nice welcome.

We accidentally booked for 1 instead of 3, however, the price was still the same except for fees for towels and sheets. The owner didn’t seem to understand this and became very upset, demanding a lot more money from us, writing many and very angry messages to us- very uncomfortable. Luckily, booking was on our side. However, that didn’t stop the owner from demanding us to leave her house early. But we did want to leave as early as possible, as we were not comfortable there. Started with picking the key up in a place with lots of spiders, spider web, and snails. Next, entering the home - it smelled very old and like it had not been in use for a long time. Only general surfaces were cleaned, corners and such were very dirty. The hot water was very unstable, beds creaked constantly, it was incredible dark, not many lamps giving a lot of light. The house was really old, making it charming, however, not comfortable to stay there.

Extra Charges Issues

The location of the house was good. Nearby was a bus stop that took you into the center. Good shopping options were within walking distance. Large house, retro style, welcome basket, parking in front of the door, garden, pet friendly.

Upon entering the house, there was a noticeable musty, old smell. The overall condition of the house was disappointing—it was dirty, with thick layers of dust, cobwebs, and unclean floors but the accommodation was still fully functional. Mattress in the bedroom too soft. We had booked the house for a family of four, including two adults and two children. According to the booking details, bed linens and towels were supposed to be included in the price. However, the landlady informed us that we would need to pay extra for bed linens for the second room, as the included linens only covered two people.

Uriges Haus mit mehreren Schlafzimmern und eigenem Garten

Gute Lage, in der Nähe gab es eine Bushaltestelle, die einen tagsüber / werktags im 10 Minuten Takt mit dem Stadtzentrum verbindet. Nette und kurzfristige Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin, sowohl vor als auch während des Aufenthalts. Netter Willkommenskorb der den Urlaubsstart versüßt. Drei Schlafzimmer, Badezimmer mit Toilette und Badewanne sowie separates WC, für einen Aufenthalt mit mehreren Personen sehr angenehm. Waschmaschine und Trockner im Keller stehen zur Benutzung zur Verfügung. Garten mit Terrasse, so dass bei schönem Wetter auch draußen gegessen werden kann. Es war möglich gegen einen Aufpreis den eigenen Hund mitzubringen.

Es war sehr staubig und insgesamt nicht besonders sauber im gesamten Haus. Der Esstisch erinnert eher an eine Bierzeltgarnitur und ist entsprechend schmal. Die urige Holztreppe knarzt sehr laut (entsprechend passend zur urigen Atmosphäre des Hauses), so dass z.B. schlafende Kinder einen guten Schlaf haben sollten, andernfalls wachen sie auf. Aktuell Baustelle auf dem Grundstück nebenan, daher Baulärm.
