Around the corner from the shops on Elm Street in Downtown WashMo, the Garden Flat is the main level of the Cedar Haus.

Located in the historical Tibbe District of Downtown Washington, Missouri, the Cedar Haus is a grand 3 story 2-family home for family and friends to gather.

Bring your mom and sisters for a wine country getaway, ride the Katy Trail, or celebrate a wedding at one of the nearby wedding venues. The Garden Flat at the Cedar Haus is in the heart of WashMo and Missouri wine country and less than an hour from St. Louis.

The renovated 1908 brick home main level, aka Garden Flat, has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, and living area. It sleeps a total of 6 people on the main level.

Over a century old, the fireplace (nonworking), doors, woodwork, and hardwood floors have been refurbished, adding a beautiful charm to this brick home.

In the 1930s, the home was made into a 2-family house, and it was kept that way when recently restored.

**The Garden Flat at the Cedar Haus is dog friendly for pre-approved dogs only.

MAIN LEVEL

The living area on the main level is an open floor plan showcasing the fireplace centerpiece and hardwood floors.

The great room has a queen sleeper sofa and a flat screen TV. The dining area has an antique dining table with a corner bench and two chairs.

The full kitchen has everything you need to make your own meals, including place settings, pots and pans, wine glasses, and both a French press and a regular coffee maker as well as a Keurig.

The master bedroom has a queen size bed with crisp white linens and a door to the covered back deck. The en suite bathroom has a gorgeous subway tile shower with handheld spa shower head.

The second bedroom also has a queen size bed and its own door to the covered back deck. The second bathroom is located off the kitchen area.

DECK, BALCONY, BACKYARD

The covered deck steps down to the fenced yard and has a view of downtown building rooftops and steeples. The backyard is fully fenced and a great place for the kids and doggies to play.

LAUNDRY

The washer and dryer is located in the basement and accessible to guests.

NOTES

* Base rate is for (2) two people, additional charges for the doggies and extra people
* There are security cameras on the porch, backyard, and garage.
* We monitor noise levels inside after 10pm with a noise sensor. This does not record anything, it only measures decibels and will alert us if it is over 80 decibels during quiet hours of 10pm to 7am. Please respectful of the neighbors.

🐶 Pre-approved dogs only, dog rate is $25 per night per dog plus taxes.

- If competing at Purina Farms, please inquire about the Purina Farms dog rate
- The dog rate applies to ALL dogs on property, even those you choose not to bring inside the home

💳 Credit card must be on file in case of damages. We will send you an email to authorize a $1 hold after your booking is confirmed. This hold begins 3 days before your arrival and is released 3 days after departure if there is no damage, no excessive cleaning needed, and no house rules are broken.

🚗 Drivers license will be required with our signed guest agreement after you book, along with a selfie holding your photo ID

🆔 We will perform a Guest ID verification securely through our payment processor after you book. The main purpose is to make sure no one has stolen your credit card and used it without your permission.

TRAVEL INSURANCE

You can purchase travel insurance for your reservation! The standard policy covers quite a few reasons for cancellation and applies to your whole traveling group.

Note that all new reservations have the option of purchasing a Cancel For Any Reason insurance policy besides the standard travel insurance policy. You can purchase this when you make your reservation with us, and the insurance is automatically connected to your stay.

CANCELLATION POLICY

If you cancel before 45 days of arrival, you receive a full refund of your deposit, less a cancellation fee. If you cancel within 45 days of arrival, there is no refund.
