About this cabin rental
An authentic log cabin on 7 acres with a small lake in the front yard. Sleeps 10 in beds (10 maximum capacity). More wildlife than imaginable. Every time of day brings out different animals and birds. Built for family gatherings and fun. Enjoy swimming in the lake. Enjoy feeding the fish (we do not allow fishing) as all fish have been hand raised and are pet like. We do provide fish food for your enjoyment (and theirs:). Enjoy local historical places, numerous wineries and breweries all within 10 miles. Ride the Katy Trail, and do some local shopping. Be sure to visit historical downtown Washington, which is one of the top ten historical districts in the US. Daniel Boone home and monument are close and worth visiting. Busch's wildlife conservation area has over 50 stocked lakes for fishing and other outdoor fun. All of these attractions are within 10 minutes of the cabin.

Beautiful location. Loved the pond and outdoor spaces. Had adequate amenities. Some areas need updating and cosmetic changes. Plenty of space for 8 adults. Loved the big dining table. Cabin has lots of character! We enjoyed our stay.

Awesome cabin, lots of lady bugs. No fishing in the pond…we didn’t know that. Would have been nice to know ahead of time. The pond there and fishing in it was one of our reasons for booking the cabin but the owner doesn’t want anyone fishing in the pond. Only 1 trash bag was provided. Bit of an inconvenience but not a deal breaker. Plenty of room for big families or groups.Lighting is awful but overall, awesome cabin
