Romeus al Fortino dimora sul mare

This is a small country house hotel on the edge of Andria. The house has been converted by the owners to have a small number of guest bedrooms but retains much of its original charm and decor. The dining room and living area are traditionally decorated and enormous and there is a beautiful roof terrace and pool for when the weather is clement. Unfortunately the wind was fierce whilst we were there and we couldn’t make the most of this, but the rooms are extremely comfortable and the bathroom enormous. Cristina, our host was amazing, arranging for us to have dinner at a fabulous nearby Masseria, as the restaurant on site was closed. She also went above and beyond by helping us out with an issue we had with our hire car. She organised everything for us - sorting it out on a Sunday and finding us transport to the airport to pick up a new one. It’s a lovely family owned place and the hosts take the customer service to the next level. Don’t hesitate to book it!

Situation en front de mer, terrasse, réhabilitation d’un immeuble historique, pavement du 15e siècle…escalier impressionnant vers une superbe petite terrasse sur la mer, bonne literie, nuit très calme, bref une bonne adresse et surtout Mariella, une charmante hôtesse qui connaît bien sa ville et sait faire partager

Chambre un peu petite avec douche dans la chambre, donc difficile de faire ses ablutions sans réveiller l’autre…mais vraiment peu gênant pour un court séjour

Posizione strategica nel centro vecchio. Vista mare incredibile e terrazza personale. La proprietaria super gentile e disponibile, ci ha dato sempre delle ottime indicazioni. Se torneremo a Vieste sicuramente riconfermeremo.

The apartment has everything you could want. It's hard to imagine a better location - literally right on the sea, overlooking the spectacular bay, with a lovely sand beach just minutes away. It's in the old town (so you will need to park elsewhere if you have a car, but that's easy enough and just a short walk away). All the attractive charms of Vieste are just a few steps away, and everything is within easy walking distance. Vieste is like the ideal, delightful Italian seaside town of your dreams: with a beautiful beach, lovely views and endless scenery, with lots of old world charm, seafood restaurants and gelato everywhere, yet somehow this town is not completely overwhelmed with tourists (sshhh...don't tell everyone!). Mariella is a wonderful host and her place is as perfect. We will be back!
