Studio House

Apartment was modest but pleasant. The extensive kitchen units and appliances all seemed virtually brand new. Reasonable provision of equipment (though only 3 table knives!). The location was very convenient - handy for the station (all trains, and buses, are FREE throughout the whole country!), but also for the old town and places of interest. There are some small convenience stores nearby but we preferred the large and very well stocked Cactus Marché Bonnevoie supermarket on Rue des Gaulois, which was only around a 5 minute walk from the apartment. Luxembourg is very impressive, located on deep limestone river gorges, with lots of old buildings, spectacular bridges, defensive structures, extensive greenery etc.

Key collection was from a key safe around a 10 minute walk from the apartment, although if getting a (free) tram from the airport it doesn't add too much to the journey time. No instructions for the various devices. We accidentally turned on the programming mode on the oven and had to download a manual to find out how to cancel this (2 presses on the pause button!). Also had to get a manual to find out what the dishwasher programmes and timings were. Apartments often have a printed set of equipment instructions which is very helpful. The main room lights (ceiling globe and spotlight set) are all controlled from the entrance door. There is no bedside lighting, nor any way to switch the main lights off from the bed area. Some form of switchable bedside lighting would be a huge improvement (especially as half the bulbs had gone on the spotlight set, and the bed area was already a bit dingy for reading). No air-con - it was exceptionally hot when we were there (33°C) so although there were electric fans for daytime/evening use, sleeping was difficult.

Estilo, confort y asistencia por el dueño.

Michel es un excelente anfitrión, muy predispuesto y comunicativo. El piso está muy bien ubicado, se va andando a todos lados. Cocina muy equipada y cómoda. Michel nos ha dejado agua y cerveza y lo agradecemos mucho.

La cama y las almohadas son bastante incomodas, creo que necesitan un reemplazo. Podría haber estado más limpio también.

Het is niet al te ver lopen van het stadscentrum met alle bezienswaardigheden. De kamer was oké. Geen luxe, gewoon basic met alles wat je nodig hebt voor een weekend verblijf.

Het was niet super schoon. Er stonden vieze glazen en pannen in de kast. In de oven stond nog een bord vol etensresten. Dat was een onaangename verrassing. Ook kijk je vanuit het raam uit op garageboxen waar drugsverslaafden rondlopen
