This beautifully appointed, fully self-contained hut features a luxurious queen bed, cosy sofa, a well-equipped kitchen, and a stylish bathroom with a shower, vanity, and flushing cartridge toilet. There is an easy to use wireless projector if you want to watch a movie.
Step out onto your private deck to enjoy the Weber BBQ, a fire pit for stargazing evenings, and a romantic outdoor claw foot bath with a privacy screen—perfect for soaking while taking in the stunning views.
The setting is truly special—overlooking paddocks where sheep and fallow deer graze, just a short stroll to the shores of Lake Tarawera at Stoney Point. Guests are welcome to use our kayaks or Canadian canoe to explore the lake, and breakfast packs or platters can be ordered to make your stay even more relaxing.
With so much to see and do nearby—discover the Buried Village, enjoy trout fishing, walk to Tarawera Falls or hike the scenic Tarawera Trail. Beautiful hut and location! Wonderful fit out, super cosy and spectacular views from the hut/deck. Owners super accommodating. Would be epic in the winter with all the blankets and pillows. We will be back

Just what I needed to get away on my own. Was beautiful and enjoyed the tuis feeding on the flax arms length away. I felt very safe as was in a secured locked area. The views were amazing. Would love to go again

Loved this unique accomodation. Beautiful views over lake tarawera sitting in the outdoor swing seat. Great location close to bike trails.
