About this house rental
Sitting on the slope of a hill and enjoying panoramic views of the Aegean Sea, Hearty Pool villa is located only a 15- minute walk from the capital of Kea, Ioulis. The main purpose of the owners, who were involved in the whole design and construction process, was to create a comfortable and warm home with outstanding outdoor areas. Everything was implemented with respect to the local architecture and the excess use of local stone, and what makes the villa unique is the windmill shape building that dominates the construction.
The villa covers a total area of 160 s.m. and can accommodate up to 8 guests in 3 levels.
The ground floor of the Windmill features a cozy round sitting room with big luminous windows and a fireplace plus a w/c. Adjacent there is a dining area and a fully equipped kitchen. The upper floor features a comfortable bedroom with en-suite bathroom. The lower level encompasses one master bedroom with en-suite bathroom, two bedrooms with double beds, one more bathroom and a useful storeroom. All rooms have immediate access to the stone tiled wide verandas and enjoy panoramic sea views across the azure Aegean Sea.
Besides the windmill, what makes this property exceptional is the 12-meter infinite swimming pool and the surrounding area, where much of the summer-life takes place. The villa's exterior is very spacious, with a lot of lounging and sitting areas, wooden pergolas and a BBQ area with a traditional built-in oven. Olive, pomegranate, fig trees and Mediterranean bushes, plenty of bougainvilleas and a plethora of indigenous plants surround the building and the verandas and form beautiful landscapes.

This place was just perfect for unwinding and relaxing. We were two small families from New York and London with teenagers. Kea was a lovely island to explore, though some of the more remote beaches were a bit too challenging for us to get to in rental cars. But the people are friendly and the food quite delicious. Alfredos was a wonderful host, responding to questions we had and any issues that came up. The grill was not working during the time we were there, but that gave us the excuse to go and visit restaurants around the island. The house is lovely, and the sunset views were just unbelievable. We so enjoyed our time by the pool and watching those sunsets every evening with a new white wine from the Islands. We had the pleasure while there that a neighborhood cat had just had kittens, and we very much enjoyed the antics of that tiny furball. A dreamy place you won't regret!
