A very satisfactory stay.

The quietness, cleanliness and centrality of the location.

I arrived earlier than anticipated and was unable to gain entry. However, that was not the fault of the owner.

Super location and hosting!

The hotel's location across from Bologna Central Station was excellent. Dmitro was incredibly helpful with everything. He's a wonderful owner. The entire place was spotlessly clean. He took care of everything we needed, as we don't speak Italian. Unfortunately, we'd left our bags elsewhere, and he went to great lengths to find them. He's a wonderful host. Everything was perfect. We thank him very much.

Great location and host

It’s very close to the train station just cross the street and down two buildings on a side street. So look for the higher number train platforms and walk that way which is under the tracks. Then look for the street exit on the other photo and you’re almost there. Also the owner graciously offered to keep my backpacks till I finish my tour of the city possibly saving me €20.

Great location.

The room is just steps from the train station, I was taking the train, Marconi Express to the airport in the morning and it was very comfortable. The room was clean and it had everything you need for a short stay. The owner speaks English, so the check in was easy.

It was very close to the transport and centro historic- and a nice once to stay

No facilities to eat- plate spoon- there were coffee pods but no coffee maker and it was hard to fill the jug and put it on the owners were most helpful when there were problems such as with he plug in the sink and helping me with my luggage

the shower and the difficulty with food the stairs were confronting with the luggage but they helped and were nice

Comfortable, convenient stay at affittacamere near station

I stayed at this accommodation the night before meeting up with Italian friends for our holiday as I was arriving late in the evening. It transpired that I arrived at 10pm rather than 9.15pm. However, the owner was very friendly and understanding, meeting me anyway to check me in at that time. The room was very clean and of good quality.

The room was like an oven when I arrived at the affittacamere and so I had to put the air conditioning on a very high setting to enable the room to be cooled down enough for the night. It would be helpful if the owner could turn on the air conditioning prior to arrival in very hot weather 🙄.

Host was really kind and flexible. Quick check in. Clean, quiet room, comfy bed, beautiful bathroom with shower. There is a small fridge in the room. Room is air conditioned. Great location, next to the train staion.

Location is good, communication needs to improve.

It is clean, very close to the train station.

There is no electronic lock for the entrance, you need to wait for the owner to open the door for you if you do not have the key yet. We have made a prior agreement on the early arrival at 7-8am. I arrived at 7:30am that day and no one was responding at the door. I called the owner about it and discovered that he is out of town. Further asking about the prior agreement, I received an answer of “we are not a hotel, there will not be 24/7 service”. I explained that it is OK to not be able to drop off my luggage early, but it is crucial to let me know and I will adjust my planning accordingly. Fortunately, the owner has a friend in a cafe nearby who can help store my luggage for an hour. However, my plan has already been disturbed and I did have to walk back and forth from the city centre (30 mins one way) to drop off my luggage to the place and the restart my visit. It would be so much better if anyone wants to early drop off the luggage, make sure you contact the owner few days before to reconfirm the arrangement. I hope such unfortunate event will not happen again in the future.

Perfect for a short stay.

Great location: very close to central rail station and close to the city center. The room was very clean and comfortable. The air conditioning was cooling enough. Good wi-fi. Friendly and helpful host. We had our own keys and it was easy to use it.

It was difficult to find the entrance (no sign or whatever). The surroundings and the staircase was not nice. No elevator (it's a second floor) what was not a big problem for us for we had small bags but it might be, for disabled and travellers with heavier luggage.

The staff there are incredibly friendly and helpful. They were always open to answer any questions and make you got settled in. Also the response time was great, if you need contact them via a message. The room is comfy, just exactly what you need after a long days travel. Also it's right next to the train station if you need to catch a train the next morning. Would recommend!

I am happy with the room and the bed. It is a quiet place. The house is connected very well to public transport. You can reach to the train station (to the airport) or bus station (to the city easily)

Very unpleasant experience.

- very close to the train station - clean room and toilet

- unfriendly and unhelpful hosts. Charged me 10 euro for the air-con fee even though the A/C did not work for the first night. On the second day i asked for a refund from the female host and showed her the A/C didn't work and she said she didn't know and no one had this issue before only me and sounded like this was my problem. So i had to call the male host personally to come take a look in the evening and suddenly, and magically the A/C worked this time, how convenient. On the third day when i checked out and asked again for the refund of 5euro for one night A/C malfunction but the host refused and said i used it for the whole night. How could i used it for the whole night when the A/C didnt even work?? - door is opened with code. So the hosts had the pass code and can enter your room personally. The lady host entered my room in the afternoon without my permission when i wasn't in and told me that it was just cleaning. No one do daily cleaning for bnb for all the stay i had in italy. Only hotels. If you want to be like an hotel then at least have an ensuite bathroom and not sharing with other guests and your family. - all in all. The whole experience left a very, very bad taste in my mouth. And if they could deal with the situation with help and not with condescending manner, the score could be higher and i would not even ask for a refund.

We liked, that the place is near the central station, so it's really easy to reach it. We had a morning flight, and the first bus 944 goes from central station at 5.00 am so it took us 5-10 min to go. In the room was electric kettle, 2 paper cups and tea with sugar, a small refrigerator, TV. So you can make a tee and keep food in the refrigerator,when it's needed. Also you have wardrobe, there is hairdryer.

Everything was great. We had own keys and it was really easy to use it.
