Enjoy a vacation in the Hümmling Nature Park! The charming “Korte” vacation home offers a haven of relaxation—ideal for hikers, cyclists, and anyone who loves nature.
This detached house accommodates up to six people and is perfect for couples, groups of friends, or families. The spacious garden invites you to relax, while the surrounding forests and meadows are just waiting to be explored. Whether you’re taking a bike ride through the idyllic countryside or a walk to the magnificent Clemenswerth Castle grounds—the surrounding area promises unforgettable moments.
Inside “Korte,” a cozy atmosphere awaits you: a fully equipped kitchen, a comfortable living room, and a separate guest restroom on the first floor. Upstairs, you’ll find two double bedrooms—one of which even includes a crib—as well as a twin bedroom. The modern bathroom with a shower and bathtub offers plenty of space to relax.
Dogs are welcome! Your dog will feel right at home, too.
Your car will be safely parked in the carport, and we’ve even thought of your little ones: a crib and high chair are provided. Bedding is provided so you can start your vacation right away.
The “Korte” vacation home is the perfect starting point for active days in nature and cozy evenings in your temporary home away from home. Look forward to a getaway you won’t soon forget!

As guests in the Sögel vacation home area, you can enjoy a wide range of recreational activities in the town of Sögel (prices subject to change):
- At the “Fitness & Gesundheit Sögel” (approx. 1,600 m from the vacation home area) and Era-Gym Sögel (approx. 2,500 m from the vacation home area) fitness centers: free weight area, cardio equipment, strength training machines, and various classes / Day pass: 10.00 EUR per person, including water and mineral drinks
- Sauna area at the Hotel Clemenswerther Hof with two saunas (60°C and 90°C) / 1,500 meters from the vacation home area / Fee: 12.50 EUR per person per day, including water and tea / Please bring your own towels and, if needed, a bathrobe
- Indoor tennis court and outdoor tennis facilities at TV-Rot-Gold Sögel e. V. / approx. 1,600 m from the vacation home area / Fee per outdoor court per hour: 6.00 EUR / Indoor courts: price upon request
- Sögel Climbing Forest: 10% discount on the regular ticket price / approx. 500 m from the vacation home area
- Boules court, including balls / approx. 1,600 m from the vacation home area / Free to use
- Outdoor chess board with large pieces in the vacation home area / Free to use
The Sögel vacation home area will be expanded at the end of 2026. Noisy construction work will begin in November 2026 and end in March 2027. No construction work will take place between Christmas and New Year’s. Quiet hours in the Sögel vacation home area will be observed even during construction!

Im Haus waren mehrere Dinge die nicht funktionierten. Die drei Aussenlampen waren alle defekt. Innen ebenso. Die Heizung war verrostet, die Spülbeckenabläufe voll Haare. Die Duschwand war schimmelig und die Terrassentür war defekt.
Nach einer Meldung an die touristikinfomation wurden die Lampen repariert.
