The Village at Bear Trap Dunes surrounds 27 holes of championship golf at Bear Trap Dunes Golf Club. Just three miles to the beach, this exciting golf course community features a fantastic set of amenities, including The Village Pavilion (with indoor pool, outdoor pool, kiddie pool, exercise room, Har-Tru tennis courts, hard surface tennis court, multi-sport court and saunas for homeowners and guests), outdoor pool, playground, summer beach shuttle and clubhouse with restaurant.
Note: The Bear Trap Dunes Owners Association charges an optional per person fee for guests ages 4 and older for the use of the community’s amenities, including the in-season beach shuttle, pools, tennis and fitness center. This fee varies by the time of year and is subject to change without notice. Guests that opt to purchase amenity passes MUST purchase at the Bear Trap Pavilion.
*Delaware regulations require all guests sign a lease agreement within 10 days of booking. A lease agreement will be sent within 24 hours of booking and an electronic signature is required before final check-in information is made available.

A solid Bear Trap Dunes condo.
Furnishings are not fancy, but are comfortable and functional. Everything works. Being on the golf course is a big plus.

We were impressed with the neighborhood along with the quite setting that overlooks golf course. Master bedroom was sizable and master bed was comfortable. Living room was spacious and plenty of comfortable seating for the family.

We had a nice time, despite some of the big negatives. For starters the place is nice, it’s not huge but not small. The bathrooms are good size. The walk to the door from the parking is a little bit, normally not an issue but I’m disabled so it would have been lovely to know.
On our first day, the fire alarm went off. It was a glitch with the alRm and the fire department could not do anything. We had to wait for the alarm company. It took them over 4 hours to shut it off. It was ear piercing, we had to leave and change our plans.
The other huge negative was the huge tear in the screen on the covered porch. We tried sitting out but got eaten up by mosquitoes so that put a quick end to our dining on the porch. It was extremely disappointing because we chose this place over another one because it had the screened in porch.
The kitchen also does not have any room for food. There is no pantry. So bizarre. We made do, but I would have liked to put everything away not leave it on the counter.
The place has what you need, it’s basically decorated and decently stocked.
